During Friday's media session at the College World Series, a reporter asked the Coastal Carolina players what they "like or admire about LSU?"

After a pause of silence, starting pitcher Jacob Morrison finally answered:

“Not a whole lot.”

Which led to some laughter in the room...

Not sure what the reporter was expecting with that question, but either way, this matchup can't start soon enough.

Yes, and it will help the Tigers focus more intently on kicking their cocky little asses. Thank you nameless faceless pitcher

I'd be disappointed if LSU wasn't already planning to play as intently as possible before this.

If the team needed comments from a dumb question in order to be motivated, then LSU has MUCH BIGGER issues to deal with.

Man, I was hoping we'd be respectable towards a worthy opponent. Now I want them to absolutely skull drag those little bitches all over the diamond.... twice.

Getting Vol baseball douchebag vibes from this team and coach!

They may or may not have those vibes, but watching them play over the course of regionals to Omaha; they are what a team outside of blue blood programs and programs that have larger NIL abilities should be. They play dirt bag full effort baseball. Believe the the Tigers get the best of them but definitely don’t mind watching smaller school play hard nosed ball.

You can be confident, but you always give respect to the other team and don't give them any motivation. How about giving respect to LSU, because they have set the standard for winning so many national championships? You know the LSU coaching staff is going to tell the players what that pitcher said.

A dead fish stinks from the head down...That answer is not surprising seeing they have a head coach who doesn't seem to be anything but cocky and loud. I will take Jay Johnson all day long. That was some serious locker room material...especially the eruption in laughter. Glad the Tigers have way more class than that.
Pride cometh before the fall.

If you watched the video, the “eruption in laughter” was from the other press members bc it was a dumb, awkward question. You can have respect for the other team without admiring them.

Just approach the game as usual. We don’t need the admiration of our opponent.

Morrison gonna regret that comment by Monday. LSU feast off pitchers named Morrison in CWS.
