During Friday's media session at the College World Series, a reporter asked the Coastal Carolina players what they "like or admire about LSU?"

After a pause of silence, starting pitcher Jacob Morrison finally answered:

“Not a whole lot.”

Which led to some laughter in the room...

Not sure what the reporter was expecting with that question, but either way, this matchup can't start soon enough.

Morrison gonna regret that comment by Monday. LSU feast off pitchers named Morrison in CWS.

Its hilarious to see how many people are actually up in arms about this. It was a dumb question, hence why there was silence from the players, and then the other reporters all started laughing. You can have respect for your opponent without having “admiration” for them (and the person specifically mentioned admire).

Jay Johnsons teams dont need “locker room material” to get up for games. Bc if they did, thats when the other team has gotten in your head and it causes teams to press and make mistakes.

My son pointed out that in the logo of CC the “chanticleer” has a ball sack hanging from its neck. Proud moment

Let's be honest it was a stupid question. Why would you ask a kid what he admires about the opposing team? They should've asked them. What are their strengths and what do you see as potential weaknesses? They're not supposed to admire the opposing team. They're supposed to admire their coaches and fathers and mothers
