Beautiful morning, great event. I finished, but not a great time. Had a hammy issue.

Best sign I observed: “On a scale of 1-10, you’re a 13.1”.

Congrats to all the finishers. The medal this year was a bit underwhelming based on years past. Thanks to all the volunteers.

Half marathons are gay. They’re for people who want to act like they accomplished something hard but actually didn’t

I’ve done at least 5 13.1 mile runs that I can remember, but I’ve never done a sanctioned half marathon

This one is sort of a halfway training measuring tool for the Chevron. Everyone has different goals. It’s all about settling them and achieving vs doing nothing and bitching about politics.

October is always dicey. This morning wasn’t bad but last weekends temps would’ve been perfect.

I’ll set the over/under on 4 as the amount of “marathon” stickers this douche has on his Tundra.

Don’t blame anyone for communicating, but some things I believe can be done without a phone or an app. I don’t run with either.

You don’t need a phone retard.

You would know this if you actually ran.

I thought like you for a long time. Whenever I'd see a 13.1 sticker, I'd think, "Congrats on half an achievement." But honestly when you run one, in an actual race setting, it is very challenging. The misconception is, it's the distance that's the challenge. That is incorrect. The average fit person can run 13.1 miles. It's keeping up a race pace over that distance that's the challenge. The adrenaline of the race takes over and you're pushing yourself. 13.1 miles at pace is no laughing matter. My advice is, don't knock it until you try it.

We know you didn't. No need to lie about it but that's what you do about your pathetic life.
