Same for the gasser. I am entering my yearly itch for a new truck and thinking a F250 or 2500 gasser.

I had the 6.6 gasser in 2021 2500 Chevy. Loved the truck and engine. I wouldn’t get another diesel unless it was making me money. The 6.6 gas pulled a 22 ft flat bed with 79 hp Kubota with bushhog and disk no problem. Also pulled a 34 ft bumper camper. I got 18-19 mpg on interstate. I put 60k miles on it before trading it in to downsize. The ride in the Chevy is much better than my 2017 F250 if comfort matters.

Bought a 2026 2500 gmc sierra SLT with the 6.6 Duramax in June. Had a 2018 sierra SLT 1500 with the 5.3 and 94k miles and loved it but couldn’t tow the tractor safely. So far I’m very happy with it. The ram def rides nicer but I’m hoping after I level it with new control arms and fox shocks that’ll improve a bit. Either way I bought it to tow. Not for a Cadillac type ride. However, it Tows the tractor and all the implements with ease. I saw GM has a 8.3 mongoose engine for 2027. Power Numbers are impressive but I’m always nervous to buy an engine first year out.

If I go halfton I am going F150 crewcab, 6.5 bed with 5.0.
I don't tow super often so really don't need a 3/4 ton. But do have a 60hp tractor it would need to pull sometime swith a disk/bushhog and hope to get a larger 22/24ft center console down the road.
The big thing is you can get the F250/2500 for the same price as the F150.

32k on my 24 250 CCSB 7.3 I get mixed driving of 14-14.6, long trips 16-16.5 Will be hauling our 34' Toy hauler to Mena Ark in about a month, I've towed it maybe 50 miles to our place but this will be the first trip where i can give mileage and tow opinions. Previous towing was 06 2500 with the 6.7. Unloaded it's fun to drive and love the ergonomics. Love not having to pay 5.80 for diesel right now too.
