In Tiger Stadium? My parents weren’t big LSU fans at the time. But I always bled purple and gold watching those Bill Arnsparger teams. Anyway my first game was against the Aggies and I was a freshman in the tiger band. That was 1994. Nearly pissed myself being on the field at my first game. Still get chills thinking about it

I remember that student section chant! “What comes out of a chinamens arse? Rice, Rice!” Over and over again.

Without even having to look it up I remember the score: 66-7.

We also beat the mess out of Rice that year 77-0 when Carlos Carson went insane.

Hot, wet, and a blood bath....JaMcarcus' first half was one of the best in LSU history. Maybe the best up to that game.

I remember getting up there with my dad and remembering how vivid all the colors were on the grass and the colors of the jerseys. I had only ever heard LSU football games on the radio.

I had never actually seen one in person or on TV at that time

The night Lindsey Scott ran back the second half kickoff against us.

My dad was an insurance salesman and had just gotten done with a house call. He walked right through the gate just in time to see that runback. Scott ran right by him out of the back of the end zone.

In those simpler times, they just left the gate unattended and you could walk in scott free after halftime.
