Yeah, drafting Sorsby is a "bridge too far" for the league owners

O/U 30 days on the girl that followed him to tech dumps his soon to be poor arse for a real football player?

He's keeping two million bucks from TTU and he's the most famous player in college football. The reality is he could trade up any time.
I wouldn't pay her that much to have sex with me!

There are multiple men in Spanish prison at this moment for FELONY WORDS shouted from the stands. He makes an awful lot of money to be this soft.

Compare this to a UFC press conference, where the fighters talk about goats, ex-wives, and dead mothers.

The average attendance is 3100 per game. It's safe to assume that because it's independent ball, they have zero fans outside of those at the games, and honestly they probably have fewer actual fans than the number of people that show up for various promotions, etc.

The worldwide population that identifies as gay is about 3%.

So this Independent League team held an event to celebrate 93 people.

It's worse (lower) than that. It doesn't matter if you take for granted that the "queer" population is 3%, 6%, or 12%. The percentages won't ever hold true across all demographic boards, like for instance "baseball fans."

Take theater kids, for example. There isn't much wrong with that as a pastime through high school. Would you tell me the guys who make it onto Broadway as stage dancers are only 3% (or 6%, or 12%) gay? It's obviously much higher, and pretty obviously a big majority.

I know a couple male nurses who see good money in helping people, don't want to spend tons of time and tuition money on full-out med school, yet straight as an arrow. I'd still guess that this stereotypically-female profession has a much higher proportion of gays than society on average.

Have you even ever heard of a male pre-school teacher? No men want to do that job. They're not as natural at it as females, but we don't assume that 50% should be men. There are plenty of male- and female-coded jobs: court stenographer (female), logger (male), secretary (female),

When AIDS hit the gay community hard in the 80s, almost zero pro athletes started dropping. You can infer that there were almost zero in that space. (I have my suspicions about Magic Johnson, who still denies it)

I remember striking up conversation at a bar one night with a couple of bros next to me and my bro. They were longtime friends from their D1 college gymnastics days. It was uncouth of me to ask, but I wondered if they felt it was a gay sport. They said no, barely 20% of male college gymnasts are actually gay in their estimation... that's still a lot more than 3%

They wore the hats to push merchandise. Same thing they do with camo for Armed Forces weekend, flag material for July 4 and cancer awareness on Mother's and Father's Day. I see this is as more about MLB trying to make a buck anyway it can, which is why they produced these and asked the players to wear them. Any merchandise worn by players usually gets people more motivated to buy it, regardless of what it is.

Do people actually buy this gay stuff? I've seen plenty of camouflage and Americana team gear in the wild. Don't recall ever seeing a proud sodomite repping his favorite sports team's ball cap.

I'm convinced there are entire third-world villages that are obliviously decked out in rainbows after the overstock gets donated there, like those boxes of t-shirts the losing teams have pre-printed that say "Champions!"

My grandfather was a lifelong Tigers fan, enjoyed his retirement days with a cold beer and peanuts in his lounge chair in front of the game.

I am glad he passed away the year before the big "Pride Night" spectacle in the name of "gender-affirming care for youths." That is a fancy way of saying chopping the ding-dongs off of boys. It would have been damaging to his soul simply to absorb that stuff.

It turned out that the slippery slope was very real, and in less than ten years, it went from "love wins" to the proceeds from your ticket sale at every major sporting event funding the slicing off of boys' wee-wees.

The bonk on the head got him a 6-game suspension. Tempers flare, I suppose.

The REAL crime that was swept under the rug was that Garrett tried to justify himself by saying Mason Rudolph called him the Devil-word.

That's basically a blood libel against a white person. That lie could have ended Rudolph's career. It's much more serious than fighting, but the league didn't tack on any extra penalty when their investigation determined that Garrett made the whole thing up. Cowardly and despicable.
He's sorry that he got caught.

She's not sorry she got caught

Apparently the greatest QB of all time wasn’t worthy of being picked until 199.

Um, Peyton Manning was actually the first overall selection of his draft class..
I created an account just to add to this thread.

Shaq is the father of ALL FOUR of Gilbert Arenas' kids. Gilbert knows this and happily raises them as his own. Publicly, he tells a story that Shaq hooked up with his ex "after they divorced."

His five-star son is four inches tall than him.
