It’s kinda shitty LeBron bailed on his own son my dad would have wanted more than anything else to fight for that father son nba title.

If the kid is ever going to have a successful career, being on a separate team from his dad is probably necessary.

completely the opposite. he was drafted because of his dad, given a guaranteed deal as a 2nd rounder because of his dad, and had his team option picked up because of his dad.
there is no career without his dad.
the reason the lakers picked up his $2mill option (the evening before LeBron announced his departure) is so they could get a $2mill piece when his dad's new team trades for him, which was part of the deal all along.
his actual NBA value is not $2mill but $0.
