Are you talking about taking Auburn to cover the spread?

I don’t see how anyone who watched CFB this year is comfortable betting in any game. It’s been crazy

I don't bet against LSU...ever.

It conflicts with what I want to happen in the game.

They just beat Georgia, on the road, who by most all accounts is better than LSU.
The non emotional money says to stay away

It is a road game with an early start. I see no reason to expect LSU to automatically win.

Auburn could have 0 wins currently and I’d expect them to keep it within a touchdown at Jordan Hare even if they were playing 2019 LSU that stadium has some serious voodoo for us and Bama

Best UGA that had just played their first real game of the year in bama. They were beat up. AU will be in a let down spot as the year has proven. That being said I wouldn’t take LSU and the points in any game until we get healed up.

Because 9 points on the road in the SEC is a lot and LSU hasn’t won an SEC road game since ‘Nam

Well, I’ll say this: Generally, betting on 8.5 point favorites on the road in SEC play isn’t a sound gambling strategy.

The fact that Auburn beat UGA after the bama game isn’t mentioned enough. Georgia had just fought a bloodbath with Alabama the week before. Auburn is coming off 2 straight tough SEC road games, including a massive expenditure of energy last Saturday. We’re coming off a very low stress win.

I'm a gambler

that's a rat line and LSU's offense is still overvalued imo

the offensive line is a weakness with extremely poor schemes and the receiver group is very underwhelming with Treydez out. Leavitt is injury prone.

but if LSU plays to their potential they could win by 3 scores pretty easily.

i'm going to stay 20' away from this line but may take the under since it's an 11am kick after auburns huge emotional victory

because beating on sports is an unnecessary risk to hard earned money

If you like losing money go for it

… he prefaced the post with “if you’re a gambler”. If you aren’t, this thread isn’t for you. If you like to bet, what’s the difference between betting $10 on a game and buying a beer and tipping at a bar while watching the game? It’s really not different at all. It’s money you spend on entertainment that you aren’t getting back.

And if you don’t care to drink, go splurge on a nice meal out. And if that doesn’t make you happy, stack your money, stay home, and let the rest of us drink, gamble, and talk sports in peace.

LSU has a total of 7 wins in Jordan Hare stadium since 1973 by a total if 49 points. LSU was a 7 point favorite there in 2022 with the game essentially coming down to the final seconds.

I am just the opposite. I always bet against LSU because if they win I am happy. If they lose, at least I get something out of it. I rolled the money week to week last season and did well.
That being said, I stepped outside the box twice this year and got creamed betting on teams other than lsu. Texas lost me good money the two times I bet on them to cover.

i think so also.

i'm not touching this. i rely on MLB and NHL year round. i avoid NFL.

some college football as only side plays. i want the best advantages possible for any football game i bet on. this is not it with the LSU-auburn history and our issues on the road. will most likely be close like last 2 road games and anything can happen.

I bet on Auburn to win outright. This pretty much guarantees a LSU victory
