Their defense is 108th in the country and gave up 4.3 yards a carry to Charlotte. The same Charlotte team that lost to Citadel last week. They are already a bit banged up. Their starting right tackle missed their last game and he will be attempting to block Jordan Ross and or Prince. LSU has the #1 ranked defense in the country and the #3 offense. Clearly Clemson isn't Clemson and La Tech (while theyre formidable) isnt an SEC caliber team, but it looks like a huge talent disparity to me. We just took their best 2 defensive players and added them to a stacked Defense. Ole Miss top outs at 21 points imo. Flip it around and I see no world where we dont break 30. I personally have this game at 52-17. Chambliss is great but I dont see much else that jumps off the page at me. Lacy IF healthy is good, but their O line is gonna be quite the hindrance for him to get going. Am I blinded with purple and gold glasses on? Why is the line 3.5? I know that it'll be a hostile environment but what am I missing?

I went in overconfident last year there’s no way their second string QB would move on our defense

They will get theirs, but if we can Dillon Jones going again and move the ball as we should be able to, I like our chances this time

But the opposite outcome would not totally shock me either. It’s their Super Bowl

They played vanilla against an inferior opponent the same way LSU did. I’m more worried about Leavitts decision making in a hostile environment against a defensive front that is way better than La Tech. Just need to make sure we can keep our defense off the field for longer than 3 downs.

I agree on defense. I don’t see OM scoring much on this D.

I don’t know…this is such a highly anticipated game for both sides. I expect both teams to pull out all the stops on both offense and defense. I can see this being a being a high scoring affair OR an intense defensive battle. There’s just too much emotion to make a prediction on how this game will go.

Chambliss is going to make plays, and that’s fine. The key will be keeping him from stringing big plays together. I feel our D will give us an opportunity to win. Leavitt and the OLine have to do their part though. We can’t go on the road and have 3+ turnovers and expect to win.

They will have hate in their heart and they will be in their home stadium. It’s gonna be a tough one.

We all said the same thing last year, and this same ole Miss offense made the then-immovable LSU defense look silly.

Chambliss isn’t just good, he’s elite. LSU needs to control the ball and keep him on the sidelines.

Well they also had kiffin and Weiss to call the plays. Now they have drunk Pete and are calling a bunch of screens and hitch routes

Turnovers exist. Becomes a lot easier to see it if Leavitt is throwing pick 6s and giving them short fields

Could easily end 20-17 and that still be enough

LSU may win, but this is not happening.

Their QB > Our QB
Their RB > Our RB
Their receivers > Our receivers
Our TE >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Their TE
Our coach >>>>>>>>>>>>>Their drunk

Should be a solid game and we really need to win this one
