He is athletic, I am just not sure about him being a great passing QB.

He has an arm just not accurate.

In this day and age most teams like lsu will always see what’s in the portal

A high school qb is either gonna have to be willing to wait or go somewhere where he can try and get immediate playing time

Elite 11 isn't football.

And I don't dislike Pop. I'm glad we have him.

Well the Pop Houston you see play on September 11, 2026, will not be the Pop Houston that takes the field for the first time in a meaningful game, at the earliest, in September of 2028. Much more likely 2029.

2027 is Clark/Longstreet/top portal QB available.

2028 is very likely still Clark/Longstree/top portal QB available

Kiffin & co. have a 5 star quarterback returning punts in blow outs because they don't mind being patient and rebuilding these kids from the ground up. They're reteaching Longstreet how to throw at the moment.

Houston is currently taking snaps 10 yards back, scrambling away from pressure, and throwing the ball 15 yards before it even reaches the line of scrimmage. I'll take the potential of the 5'10 athlete with a cannon and multiple years in a Lane system everyday of the week.

If there is one man that’ll turn him into a college superstar and unlock his full potential, it’s Lane Kiffin. One thing I’ll never worry about is Kiffin having a bad QB.

How is the rest of his team? What about the team they were playing? I’m just saying that you can’t always blame the QB

His team is not good. He is basically a one man team who has to try and outscore everyone by himself.

This is Arch Manning at Newman all over again. Doesn't take much to see that the QB is head and shoulders above the rest of team, just can't do it all alone.

Sounds like his team sucks and he's having to force the ball to try and keep up.

I don’t know how you watched that Neville game and did not come away knowing that he is the entire team and the only reason they score a single point is Pop.
