Was disappointed when I went to shake shake and haven't been back since. Both atomic burger and mooyah are better and within a mile or two. If we had a what a burger it would be rated higher as well. Would of rather Lagers stay there than to get another 14.50 griddle burger place. Only advantage they have is they have cheese fries.

Stay strong Eggroll!

Where are your associates now Mr. Power?

re: MT Tire recommendations

I would go super swamper SSRs. Kind of inbetween a mud terrain and the TSLs or boggers. They're radial so when you do drive it into town they'll be a little smoother. Probably my favorite interco tire. My cousin had them on his truck in high school and they were great in exact situations you describe.

Boggers are sweet but you can dig yourself to trouble in those real quick!

Start sticking willow branches all around it and deep in the mud. Bring a few fresh ones everytime you go to it. When you think you have enough brush double that ammount. By next year some of the willows will of taken. The base/backdrop is non existent and that profile is too big. You basically need to create a backdrop/mass of sorts in addition to just brushing it. I also add clumps of brush sporadically around my blind if its in a more bare area.

Wrapping in camo and wrap will help too.

If thats was one of my blinds I'd honestly write it off for this year and address it at end of this upcoming season.

re: Girlfriends Dog

Been through this exaxt same scenario. My wife's dog years ago. It would bite, skittish, territorial, agressive, bad house manors, etc. It eventually got to a point where I told her to take it to be put down humanely or I'll handle it after it bit her on the leg while she was sleeping. There is zero reason to have an aggressive dog. Obviously we were far along in our relationship.

If you've only been dating for handful of months you shouldn't even begin to think of having this conversation. This right here is why you get a lab, golden retriever, any spaniel, etc. Ill be willing to bet that dog is a toy breed of sorts and she got it when she clearly wasn't ready for responsiblity of raising a dog. Training will help, see where it goes. Not sure you can retrain your girlfriends expectations of the dog though.
Hes definitely going to win. When he said he has nothing better to go back go at home and they're going to have to drag him out knew he was the guy to beat.

Exact opposite with the girl who cried when peter cottontail got in her snare. No way she makes it, picking her to be first to tap out.

Great show for sure.
Theres some good waterfowl ones if its your thing. The Duck Commander one has all the original and current duck commander videos and also some other stuff. I like Daybreak, Higdon Outdoors and Louisiana Wetlands/Hampton Rutland.

Pretty much any brand/sporting good retailer has their own channel and content. I subscribe to the ones I like and it will sort my content real nice and align stuff I havent watched first in the feed. I'm assuming you have the app on your TV or a firestick.
My uncle once showed me how you can fold up the broken down box, cut out her chest and basically move her exposed knees to make her look topless on the box. 12 year old me was always amused by that.

But seriously why throw away a decades old brand. I think majority of the grocery shoppers out there could tell you the indian lady is land of lakes.
Had a baseball coach who went up an interstate ramp backwards as a teenager and killed someone. Did a few years and couldn't drive obviously. Great guy that just made a mistake. He owned it and wouldn't beat around the bush about it. Amazing he bounced back from that, not sure how I would be honestly. Guilt would eat me up.

Rising Tide, great book about why and how. End of the day typical political BS, egos and personal gain from different powers to be. Thing that stuck out to me is how circa original viewing of river by Spanish explorers, Indians told them that every 14 years the rivers flood plain was 15 miles both east and west. Trying to tame that, woof!

re: Which waders?

Posted by Cmk07c on 12/22/19 at 12:04 pm to
I dont care what waders you buy they all become disposable when you hunt a real tough environment. In and out a mud boat or pirogue, trekking hundreds of yards in flooded marsh and through roseau patches will eventually kill any wader. Do that 30 to 40 times a season and it they will at some point puncture in time. These guys that walk a levee to a rice field get a while out of them, but heck they could do that it tennis shoes.

My favorite were those cableas everyone else mentions, now on to the rogers and theyre decent. I liked the ones macks made for a hot minute, but they're not being produced anymore either.
Kind of want a 28 for teal season and for my kids, but realistically a m2 in 20. My current and only 20 is a old 1100 LT thats too nice to put into regular rotation and it only shooting 2 3/4s limits it. Less and less 2 3/4 steel loads for the 20 are being made.
Yes, my best hunting buddy I met through a hunting/fishing forum. Years later we now got a camp together and have introduced our real life buddies to one anothers real life buddies and it's one big crew of us that hunt and fish together. Like you, I was in a place with no buddies and had to find someone if I wanted to go. Get a cold one with who you meet on here and plan your next fishing trip!

Congrats on being cancer free, go catch some fish!
They're all quiet when new. I had duratracs and loved them. But, at half tread these tweener AT's have the mannerisms of a MT with less pull. Weight and fuel mileage is more comparable to a MT as well. Something to think about when shopping for these.

The new cooper AT's might be a better fit and significantly less. They look pretty aggressive too with the sidewall change.

re: Soft Sided Cooler Recomendations

Posted by Cmk07c on 8/25/19 at 9:24 am to
RTIC makes a backpack day cooler that holds 18ish beers and ice. They're around 25 bucks.

I own one of the more expensive softsidded RTICs but honestly use these day coolers 10 to 1. Not as bulky and good for a whole day or so.
Explain to me the math of how it makes sense for people to spend the 10 to 20k on a pit?

You can go hunt a prime blind with a guide for 300 to 500 a gun for the day. The numbers don't add up. Why not hunt a different and awesome blind every weekend. A 20k marsh lease does make a little more sense, because you have multiple ponds or coves. I would go nuts hunting the same rice pit all year long.

Hell we are killing mostly blue wings throughout January, louisiana is now the destination for the winter not the layover to Mexico or south florida.

re: Anyone own a newer Nissan Titan?

Posted by Cmk07c on 7/19/19 at 8:58 am to
Have a titan xd with the diesel that's a little more than a year old. Love it.

Had a regular titan that I got new in 09 and drove it for almost 10 years with minimal problems. I towed a double axle trailer daily with it for 6 of those years. My dad has that truck now at his camp and its still going strong as a woods truck.

Great trucks, they suck gas compared to the other guys though, kind of ironic seeing as it's a Japanese truck.
Related but different. Big cheezy in Kenner charges you full price nearly 3 dollars for tap water. Literally refused to get anyone in my family a drink out of principle. Will never go back. People are willing to pay 9 to 12 bucks for a grilled cheese and you want to hit them with a charge on terrible tap water.

I try to stay away from places that charges for refills on fountain drinks as well.

Back to your point, its bs. Accepting a credit card is a cost of doing business and cash is slowly dying. These places need to just up their cost elsewhere to avoid ppl like me blacklisting.
