Well if you really want an answer. You need to see how bad those lillies are. Like is it always surrounded by those lillies when the wind is out of a certain direction? If the entire pond is covered in that stuff, you are kind of SOL, in the winter some will die off, but not all of it.

This, that will be the first and most important.

We have a weighted net that we drag between two boats to pull aquatic vegetation away if floating.
If not floating, we use the boats to cut it up by just drive around in it if needed. Takes awhile but it works.
We have sprayed to kill using Diquat but it's not always the best considering price.

We always wrap our blinds with 1-3MM thick nylon cord pulled tight. Then cut brush that matches the surrounding area of the blind.
Pull cord back and slide brushing between cord and blind. We also have a "shooting deck" on our blinds so we cover the top with brush. It allows you squat down under cover when needed and pop up on the deck to shoot. Could also do something like that so you aren't sitting/standing out like a sore thumb from up top.

Personally, the first thing I'd do is lower it.

Plant Roseau cane around it. Also going to need 20 gallons of 2-4D, surfactant, some roundup and a large spray rig, before you get to working on blind.

If you can keep the spot clear of vegetation and you decide to build out the blind, I recommend making a covered slip for your boat. Can set it up behind or just clear the middle and drive the boat right in depending on what kind of structure you want. Trying to find a picture of my setup a couple years ago. Will post if I find.

Burn it and hunt out of the boat, that way you can travel to where the ducks are and you don’t to bait so much..

WD40 on the chair pivot point. You might scare away the ducks when you swivel the chair.

Ain’t no duck coming within 75 yards of that garhole

OP, did you have to pay money for this spot?
