If they have Bama, Florida, Texas ahead of us, it’s kind of a slap in the face. When you think about only 1-2 plays going our way against Ole Miss and Kentucky and getting those wins, we would be the unanimous #1. Then when you consider our losses being to 1, potentially 2, top 10 teams on the road, if we had the same program respect as the programs listed above, I couldn’t see how they would have us any lower than #15. Them dropping us from #10 to #22 last week was a little extreme if you ask me. I could see that drop if we the loss was to Arkansas or to South Carolina, but Kentucky only had 1 loss, and still only has 1 loss.

My point is, it feels obvious that we won’t be receiving any benefit of the doubt with new hate/bias against us, and hopefully it doesn’t cost us in the end if we have 3 losses and are fighting for the last 1-2 spots in the playoff.

We don’t have a signature win. Texas does.

They just have to make sure we don't get that 3rd loss. I think there's gonna be alot of 3 loss SEC teams and probably only 1 or 2 with 2 losses or less. Gotta stay out of that 3 loss pod to put it in the hands of the committee.

Because they all have better wins than us. What is our best win? Miss St without their 2 best players?

We will move up 2-3 spots. Thats it

Would not surprise me if they still have State 1 spot above us

Those teams will all drop 5-6 spots. LSU will jump 5-6. So yes, they will all still be ranked higher than LSU

Texas has a signature win but two losses to unranked opponents on a neutral field and at home. Those are really bad for anyone not named Texas.

Bama has no real signature wins and their losses are about the same as LSU except they lost to UGA at home.

Texas SHOULDN'T be ahead of LSU when the rankings come out today. Don't care about their signature win. My EYEBALLS says Texas is/was overrated. So i'm gonna stick with the Eyeball Test.

We take care of business vs uk and we would be top5. We will play bama and it directly so it will all sort out.

We gotta take care of business vs auburn. At least there is no sneaking up on us

That’s also my point. LSU was ranked a few spots ahead of Bama to start the season, and so you would think we should at least get back in front of them today in the rankings. I guesss Kentucky being Kentucky and a historically poor football program/brand is what had the pollsters drops us as far as they did.

silly voter polls are irrelevant in today's game. They're a relic from the past.

The only ranking that matters is the final Playoff Selection Committee's final rankings and seedings.

Ignore everything else.

They got the W but I don't think anybody was particularly impressed by their performance against Ohio State. They had to come back by double digits in the 4th at home.

The power rankings are what I find so much interesting and accurate these days. I thought I heard one of the more prominent YouTubers say we were #8 or #9 last week.

Against one of the top teams in the country. The fact that they were able to do that doesn't impress you??
