2 small observations from offense

Corey Barber appears to be a safety blanket. I remember Jarvis Landry making tough catches like that. Finger tips and taking big hits.
Also, Mothershed needs more opportunities. You can see he moves well for his size, and he wasn't afraid to mix it up and block. Zach Grace can't catch a damn cold. It limits us when he's in the game. Problem is, when he comes out, you can almost expect us to pass. I think you have to go Mothershed from here on out unless we're going shot yardage and telling the defense you can stop us.

I personally want Wilson to get the ball more. Give me an OBJ vibe but yes Barber feels like a poor man’s juice

Zach Grace has a force field that prevents the QB getting a catchable ball to him.

Its not all Grace's fault. Almost every ball that's been thrown his way this season has been a bad ball. Show he catch them? Maybe, but they have all been tough catches.

After Watkins missed those 2 TDs, Barber went in game and balled out, I was seated right behind his family last night and they were fun to hang with and talk football, proud parents and happy their son is in BR and playing for LSU.

Should’ve been mothershed over grace on the last play against ole miss

Id give barber a chance over Watkins moving forward.

How many passes have you seen Watkins drop before last night? Include his time at Ole Miss if you want.

The problem with Grace is the ball always seems to hit him in the worst possible spot….
His hands

The balls thrown to Grace haven't been great but almost all were catchable. He's pretty bad in the passing game and it doesn't help that he's so wide open every time you almost have to throw it to him.
Barber has "sure hands" and is already a trustworthy possession receiver if we need it. But seems like the sky is the limit.
Mothershed seemed really comfortable out there. I'm hoping we can mix him in a little bit. That high pass he snagged was beautiful.

This is patently false. He was wide open against Ole Miss on the goal line and Sam flat out missed him.

Watkins will get back in the groove he just had a bad hands game last night but Barber Jr will be getting some run from now on. Watkins also was removed from punt return duties as Longstreet was returning punts, never saw a backup QB returning punts, CLK definitely trust his hands
