I’ve got a junior daughter at LSU (no pics) and this is making the rounds.

Jesse Mack Butler is expected to attend Louisiana State University.

Butler entered a no contest plea as a youthful offender to 11 felony counts, including:

• Attempted Rape in the First Degree (2 counts)
• Rape by Instrumentation (3 counts)
• Forcible Oral Sodomy
• Sexual Battery
• Domestic Assault & Battery by
Strangulation (2 counts)
• Domestic Assault & Battery
• Violation of a Protective Order

According to investigators and court records, one of the victims was strangled until she lost consciousness, revived, and then strangled again while the assault was recorded on his phone.

He would never see the light of day again if our justice system worked properly. What a POS.

This is absolutely shocking.

Jesse Butler - The Oklahoma teen who violently r*ped and strangled a high school girl so badly she needed neck surgery and was seconds from dying - just had his entire case dismissed.

He was looking at 78 years.
He pleaded to the charges.
He completed a “youthful offender” rehab plan… and walked free with zero prison time.

His dad is a former Oklahoma State football director.

The new DA said the defense claimed the *perpetrator* suffered more than the victims and called it an “affront.” He’s referring the case to federal prosecutors.

Good for you for bringing to our attention.

Due process has been had, however corrupted in Oklahoma, but this is a quality public service announcement.

You should also touch base with AG Liz Murill and LSU’s general counsel about Mr. Butler, preferably FedEx, signature required.

If nothing else, LSU should and needs to be on notice of the violent rape proclivities of this young man.

Death by dildo suffocation in the Coates basement seems like an appropriate welcome to Louisiana.

What in the ever living hell is wrong with LSU? Absolutely no admossion standards whatsoever. Women on campus beware. Memorize that fat sex predators face.

Juvenile. It's why I voted to make sure teens are tried as adults. The rest of Louisiana doesn't feel that way though.

They argue the recidivism rate for sexual assault is lower for teens. So hopefully that reassures everyone with daughters.

quote:

“For many years, treatment for juveniles was largely based on models used with adult sexual offenders,” the report reads. “However, as knowledge about the developmental, motivational and behavioral differences between juvenile and adult sexual offenders has increased, therapeutic interventions for juveniles have become more responsive to the diversity of sexually abusive behaviors and the specific offending-related factors found among adolescents and children.”

That suggests the court’s handling of Butler’s case is in line with current juvenile justice philosophy and practice, though research has found violent defendants with more than one victim need multi-pronged therapy to significantly lower their risk of reoffending. Thomas’ statement didn’t offer details on Butler’s required treatment but emphasized the need to spare further trauma.

If I'm dad to this girl, I'm doing what Dirty Harry did to the Scorpio. I'm sitting at the end of every bar he walks into; I'm at every park he walks through to get to class, grocery store, everywhere, until I'm at a phone booth at an airport.
