Remember opening day with Les Miles?

He promised to open the offense up. Day one of practice showed clips of QBs throwing long passes like you saw today. Everyone got excited because finally we would have a QB throw over 200 yards in a game. Then game one came and it was the same old shite.

Are you expecting to see power eye against Clemson?

I remember every spring game

The QBs would throw for 500 yards and 8 TDs

Les Miles seems like centuries ago now.

Iam just stating how far we have come and thank God. All those toss dives to the week side drove me nuts.

But don't be surprised if you see some power I. They didn't get Zach Grace for nothing. Nothing wrong with that as long as you have a human wrecking ball for lead block.

Why is anyone thinking about Les Miles today? That’s the question

I don’t even think Les had an offense as bad as last years was.

At the end of the day, Les could at least field a team that could rush for 180 yards collectively against teams not named Alabama.

I truly wish LSU could celebrate him on the field soon before it’s too late.

Anyone remember the Brittany Spears mic?

At what point did he decide to wear a windbreaker every game?

He wore polos early in tenure.

He wore the same outfit every game, no matter the weather so the players always knew where to find him. Equipment had at least 30 backup pairs of his shoes because Nike discontinued them but sent dead stock to campus.

Baker does that with the gold tops.

The irony of it is his two predecessors had a combined tenure here shorter than his.

Because the clips of QBs today showed mostly long passes. It just reminded me of day one practice of the miles era. Only this time around I don't have the feeling iam getting my expectations up about having a passing game.

Iam thankful of the championship Les got us. But I will always be pissed about the way he handled that 2012 championship game. He let his ego get in the way of that game.

2008 changed Miles. 2011 broke Miles.

F Miles for that Lambeau trip. Everything was incredible about that trip up until opening kickoff. Never been so pissed off leaving a game. Should’ve never made it to that opener in the first place. All lies during the offseason. Imagine Fournette in a Kiffin offense..

Well to be fair, LSU hasn't recruited a qb straight from HS since Russell and Flynn. Yes , they had RP. He screwed himself. Think about that for a minute. Mett, Burrow, and JD were all transfers. Everyone before , or in between weren't very good. Louisiana isn't really a hotbed for HS QB talent. Those who are, sure aren't playing at LSU. Different process now

He got Brandon Harris from parkway in 2013. That didn't turn out great.
