Haven't been able to make it down there yet this summer, but leaving tomorrow to try and get some fishing done.
How have the specks and flounder been lately down there? It's looking like a West wind the next few days, which seems to dirty up the water in Caminada Bay blowing the marsh stuff in, but the tide should be moving pretty good in and out as well.
Hoping maybe with how hot it's been, the fish might be active under the lights at night to feed.
If anyone has any fairly recent reports, would be much appreciated.

Buddy took his kid and 2 kid friends and caught 35 keeper specks and 60 white trout. Had a mess of fish to clean.

95 trout between 3 kids sounds like a ton of work. Good for that Dad.

I now know who you are, but have suspected for years. Good luck, the Gulf is very calm, but I know that your Captain does not like to go there.

Reports haven't been great. Sub par weekend last weekend for Tarpon Rodeo after the storm came by. So far this week reports have been slow. 3 weeks ago, ran over to Buras and caught 60 specs and 40 whites on oyster reefs. Couple days before that, caught 30 specs on beaches east of the island. 7 man limit of snapper and some vermillion yesterday.
