New River Gorge NP area in West Virginia. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay there. The bridge walk was quite the experience.

I mentioned it was an old lady in a convenience store for a reason. Everyone else was nice, although Wroclaw had more MMA stores/gyms per capita than I've ever seen in my life. But that old lady in the shop (Lawenda across the street) was something special.
The Polish men do have a weird obsession with luxury watches. I had to get a battery replaced in a $500 watch, and they pressure tested it after re-sealing it, which was unnecessary (probably Tissot required procedure.) And there were the prototypical eight dudes in track suits in the store buying watches that cost 10 times what mine did.
It was extremely safe, probably on par with most of Tokyo.

Cape Town, SA. The wharf area for dining and shopping were great and the homes in the beach towns reminded me of California coast homes. Huge homes with all glass overlooking the ocean from the cliffs.

Agreed, wonderful city with lots to do and see. Those cliff side homes are crazy. Clinging to the cliff with the coastal road leaving barely enough space to park a car in the driveways built on top of the home.
A surprise for me was eastern Oklahoma. Pine forests, lakes, rivers, parks. Very much the same as Arkansas. I was expecting tumbelweeds.

Vienna and Budapest.
