a great last-minute deal on a Condo in Big Sky, MT.

Went there a few years ago, absolutely beautiful. Hike Beehive Basin if you get a chance. 7 miles round trip, the top is amazing.

3 week road trip in October with the gf (no pics).
GF said she wanted to see Mt. Rushmore-after that it's all on me.

Durango CO for 3 days. Check out Mesa Verde NP. Not yet sure if we'll take the Silverton train.

Drive up to Dinosaur NM for the day.

1 week in Grand Tetons/Yellowstone.

North Dakota/Teddy Roosevelt NP.

Drive to Devil's Tower then to Rapid City SD for 4 days. (Mt.Rushmore, Badlands NP, Wind Cave NP, Black Hills).
(Knocking out the Dakotas which leaves only Hawaii)

Head south to Scotts Bluff NM in Nebraska and then on home from there.

I love road trips-gf sleeps so I just turn on the tunes and cruise America. We're so fortunate to live in this beautiful country-we never run out of things to visit.

We take for granted some times how much freedom we really have in the US. My gf's best friend in Vietnam is locked inside her subdivision. I mean they are literally locked inside the gate that is the entrance to her neighborhood and there is a guard there to make sure no one can get out. The communist government is keeping everyone safe from the scary covid boogieman. They have to have a pass to leave the subdivision to buy groceries. There's a reason hundreds of thousands fled to the US.

I just got confirmation on a month long trip to Peru, leaving in September.

That's going to be awesome. I was in Peru for 17 days in 2016, and it wasn't enough. The food is fantastic -- I think that it's the best in the Western Hemisphere.

You will enjoy this. Kentucky is made for Fall. Try to go to Keeneland if they are having races.

Our next booked trip is back to Yellowstone next July. But hope to do a fall foliage trip for 10 to 14 days; just waiting to see what happens w/ COVID.

We did a 3 week road trip in ‘19 that was similar.
If you have time check out:
Buffalo Bill Museum in Cody
Little Big Horn in MT
The bison roundup in Custer State Park is sometime in the fall, maybe you can see that.

We did SW Colorado, Mesa Verde, Durango, etc. this summer. The Canyon of Ancients near Cortez, CO is a good stop. Go to the visitor center near Delores first.

Check out Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP; it’s more or less on the way from Durango to Dinosaur NM.
