Will be traveling with the family to Maui in mid July and curious if anyone had recommendations on snorkel/snuba companies?

Can't recommend Trilogy enough. My wife and I did an excursion to Lanai with them. The boat was awesome. The employees were awesome. If/when we go back, we will book them again.

Have used them twice and definitely would recommend also. One more thing if you are staying at any of the local resorts make sure you are within walking distance. Pretty good haul if you had older parents like I did. Just google your location and where they launch from. Use the walking guy when you google.

OP, if you’re going to rent snorkel gear as well as take a trip you can see the turtles as much as you want at Makena Landing park. That’s where the companies go to show you turtles.

Get your own snorkel gear at one of many shops and go to Napili bay… there is amazing snorkeling there and it’s free. Amazing reefs and tons of marine life. We swam with sea turtles for hours out there

We used the snorkel store. They were great. Good prices and you get a snorkel report everyday.

I’ve got a place we used for surfing lessons for my 10yr old daughter too if you need.

I go to Costco right there at the airport after landing and get my snorkeling gear there. It's new/unused and costs about $40 and I simply leave it behind when leaving for someone else to use.

Second Trilogy. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. You would expect the food to be bad on a boat but it was actually great.

Had a great time with redline rafting. The 5 hour was fun, we went to Molokini crater like most tours and saw some cool stuff, then they took us to the back side of the crater which was kinda sketchy because it was really deep and you’re kinda just staring out into the abyss. Then they took us to the rocks between black sand beach and little beach which was probably my favorite, saw a baby octopus and some eels along with all the fish. Last was turtle town, got to swim with a bunch of sea turtles. They fed us cinamom rolls and fruit for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch and the 2 person crew were young and friendly and didn’t try to act to “Hawaiian” if you know what I mean. I would do it again

We used Lahaina surf shack.

It was basic but awesome. Benny took my 10 yr old daughter and she was up on the first wave. Highly recommend them.

We used snorkel store and they were great too. You get a daily report showing best places to go.

Recommend if in Lahaina eating at Paia fish market. Really good. We are there twice. Also get reservations for Fleetwoods at sunset on deck. Awesome food and drinks. Mic was there playing the night we were there.

We also used Ultimate Whale Watch and snorkel for sunrise whale watching which was amazing. They used smaller boats. They were awesome and I’d use again.
