LaGuardia is the ugliest, grimiest airport I’ve ever seen. And not charming-grimy, like NOLA. It’s just nasty. I hear they’re renovating. It’s long, long overdue.

I’ll take ATL any day over IAH, MCI, SAN, HNL, ORD, EWR (especially over EWR)…

Is MCI considered a major airport? That place is terrible.

Entering the US in Atlanta is a very horrible experience

This is accurate. Came from Europe 3 weeks ago, landed with abt 1 hr 45 min layover, have Global Entry, still were last ppl on flight to Dallas. Unreal that international connection setup.

Otherwise, ATL is ok.

ATL is pretty great as far as US airports go. Just head to One Flew South and have a cocktail and some toro

New Orleans…

idiot

I remember when it opened and there was an entire thread of baws in crushing disbelief that it was clean, functional, and stressless.

JFK- Terminal 4 is a long walk from the Airtrain to the end at gate B55. You can cut out part of the walk with the jitney (aka fancy word for a bus) but it's still pretty far

Last time I was there, I had to switch over the international terminal on foot with a huge suitcase because the tram was down and there was no sign or indication whatsoever of how to get there...A random Indian man ended up generously driving me there. The gate I flew out of might as well have been an abandoned bus stop in the heart of Queens. What a squalid dump of an airport.

I'm in domestic airports 30 weeks a year. I haven't seen a smile in Memphis is 10 years. I've avoid at any cost a connection thru Newark.

For as big and busy as it is, Atlanta is a very easy airport to navigate and fly in and out of. No complaints with it.

LGA and EWR are infinitely worse than ATL.

To connect through, yeah. But I hated it to fly out of. Traffic and TSA were a shite show there when I lived in Georgia. I guess the upside was that you can fly almost anywhere you want directly from ATL. But I like it better now that I connect through rather than drive to it.

Yep, driving anywhere in ATL is what I imagine hell to be.

LOL at this thread

ATL is widely considered close to the top on mega airports. It'll never contend with nice, smaller, regional airports, but for a massive sprawling thing it's solid.

I used to think it was the worst until I flew through DFW in late September.

Decade?

I flew out of there today. With Clear and TSA pre it was 5 minutes.

Traffic is another issue altogether. If people would quit moving here from their shitty no job states though…

Cough, Louisiana… cough.
