How many days to do the WW2 Museum right? Keep in mind I am the nerdy type in any group who wants to see and do everything there is to do in a place like that. Thanks.

A few hours. You certainly don't need days.
Its big and has a lot going on, but its not THAT big.

One full day, from open until close.

This might be an unpopular take here, but
I've been twice and it's honestly a little underwhelming. I wish there was more to see in terms of vehicles/larger weapons/etc. It's still worth a visit, but it just feels lacking to me. You can easily knock it out in an afternoon.

I think 2 days assuming you are not there from open to close and going non-stop. I took my FIL in May. He is a Marine and by the time he saw everything Marine related including watching and listening to all of presentations we missed quite a it. We were there a little over 7 hours including lunch.

To walk through it? You certainly didn't read anything or watch any of the videos in a few hours.
I would say a full day with lunch eaten on site. Maybe a full day and a second morning if you actually want to read and see everything.

You certainly did and can. 5-6 hours and you can see pretty much the whole thing.

A half day if you want to hit all of the major exhibits, a couple of days if you want to examine every little detail.
This is not the Louvre but the coverage of the war is pretty thorough.
I am a charter member and enjoy visiting whenever I get the chance.

That’ll kill an hour.

I spent the majority of a day and didn’t have time to get to the Pacific side. But I love military history.

Is it something an 8 and 10 year old would enjoy or should we wait till they age up some?

My daughter enjoys history, and she was 10 when we took her. She enjoyed it.

I went to the aquarium in 2020 and it was one of the worst attraction experiences ever. Almost every exhibit was closed and we were done with it in 30 minutes. The animals were moved because of covid..

One day.
Please step across the street and go to the New Orleans Museum of the Confederacy. They do unit and battle flag restoration on the bottom floor.

I've attend two kids (8-10 years old) birthday parties there, I've also chaperoned a 6th grade field trip.
