I don’t like Charlotte but the only reason is I had flight cancellation there, I hate AA more.

As others have said, ATL is a fantastic airport. Don’t understand the hate at all for it.

ATL airport blows. Charlotte airport is ok, I’d put it right in the middle as far as airports go.

Charlotte sucks for being a midsized airport.

CLT is 7th busiest airport by passenger traffic in the world and 2nd busiest American Airlines Hub. Nothing midsized about that.

It always seems that Newark has construction/ remodeling going on at the checkpoints. It's a pain in the arse.

The only problem at Charlotte is that sometimes to reach your connector you have to walk across the the the terminal from E to A other than that it's a pretty easy airport

That's my gripe though. You always have to hop on the team and go 2 stops over. CLT is fine on my 2 trips through there.

WOW! Someone needs to go through ATL You will enjoy Charlotte after that.

I haven’t been through ATL in almost 10 years because I don’t fly delta. I fly through Charlotte all the time and I like that airport a lot. ATL and Miami are two airports I avoid. Denver has been mess lately and I like Newark a lot.

Also do not get the ATL hate. Big? yes. Crowded? yes x 1000. but the layout is linear, nomenclature is logical (unlike CDG). just give yourself time to get from T to D. (and if your flying out of D, that's your fault)

I fly a lot, and most of my flights go through Charlotte. CLT is one of the easiest airports to navigate, and you can easily walk from Terminal A to Terminal E in 10 minutes. It has a lot of good dining options too.

I'll take CLT over Atlanta or DFW any day and twice on Sunday. Not a fan of Orlando either.

. The hallways, seating areas, restaurants, bathrooms, and admirals clubs all feel a few sizes too small to handle all the traffic.

I fly through Charlotte a couple of times a month.
Since Covid it has been incredibly overcrowded. The only terminals that aren’t a circus are A and D. The lounges are ridiculously overcrowded. The restaurants are elbow to elbow. I prefer to fly through DFW or Miami. As bad as Miami has been in the past it actually isn’t too bad now.

I had a flight from Greensboro, NC to Houston and they had a layover in Charlotte. I wanted to punch a baby.

That is all I have to add to this topic.

My least favorite airport. Dirty. Horrible amenities. Crowded as frick. Takes forever to get anywhere for a medium sized airport. American Airlines hub that literally fricks up everything.

ATL is a god tier airport. Go to the international concourse with a long layover. Quiet. Spacious. Beautiful. Layout is efficient. People traveling through Atlanta know how to do it. They’re pros. People traveling through Charlotte seem like first time fliers.

Charlotte airport is Latin for late. If you are flying eastern on AA you know your plane will probably be delayed going through CLT. Give me Atlanta or DFW any day.

Every now and then AA will connect you through DCA, it's small and shitty. But at least you get there on time

You are not supposed to say that about Atlanta. All the Saints fans on this website hate anything Atlanta. Weird, but true

No seats at bars available, one half of moving walks broken down, commuters jammed so tight you can't walk through them, on and on

Charlotte-Douglas isn't awful but it's not the best. It's in the middle IMO.
