Am I crazy to think that I can go to 4 Disney parks in one day just to get on 4 rides?

I am taking my wife and 12 year old son to Universal Studios/ Adventure Island in the beginning of June. For three express passes, it came up to $614 dollars.
My son has never been to Orlando but I’m torn on getting the $614 for express passes or just go to Universal/Adventure for the early entry since we will be at Sapphire resort, get in the regular lines, and use that $614 for Disney tickets.
I know Disney World is different now with reservations, genie plus, and lightning lanes. I was thinking of getting a one day park hopper tickets and go to all four parks at Disney just to get on 4 rides without genie plus and lightning lanes.
I have seen all the new videos on YouTube about going to Disney World from all the Disney YouTubers and each park has that main ride that me and my family want to get on. I know the regular lines will be a pain in the arse and miserable.
Is there any chance in hell that I can start the day off at Epcot to ride Guardian of the Galaxy, go to MGM Studios when people can park hop at 2pm to ride Star Wars Rise of the Resistance, go to Animal Kingdom to get on Flight of Passage, and end the night at Magic Kingdom to ride Tron?
Am I crazy to try to do that or stick with paying the $614 for the express passes when we go to Universal Studios/Adventure Island?

I know nothing about Disney and even I think that sounds unrealistic.

I know nothing about how disney is structured or what any of those passes you mentioend actually allow you do to, but I would imagine that spending a 12+ hour day at the park/parks and only riding 4 rides would be absolutely miserable.

The shite we do for our kids to make them happy. I miss the old Disney days when it was so simple lol

How much is a night at one of the three Universal resorts that include the Express Pass with your stay?

if you don't go on rise of the resistant first thing in the morning right when it opens and you don't have fast passes for it you will stand in a 3-4 hour line the rest of the day

The big three resorts that offer express pass, you are looking at minimum in June about $380-$420 a night I think.

That sounds like way too much if you can't start park hopping until 2pm, you have to figure on around a 2 hour wait in line for each of those, probably an hour each time to jump from one park to the next, I feel like you'd run out of time.

Right. My point is that's way less than actually buying the express passes.

2 hour wait in line for each of those
Do not assume it'll "be different" than this. Everyone that's never been to the Mouse House makes crazy assumptions about how it won't be busy for them, because it's not spring break, it's not summer, nobody will be there on New Year's, it's nine PM, etc.

I’m sitting in the Orlando airport right now (work trip, definitely not Disney) and the amount of people in this small, crappy airport is crazy. At least 80% of the people appear to be going to or coming from Disney.
My flight in from Atlanta was on a 767 and it was completely full.

Better than spending 2 12+ hour days for 10-12 rides. Rip that bandaid off and get out.

All that money for 4 rides that will last 10-12 minutes in the least.

You aren’t riding those 4 rides in one day more than likely and you would need to start at magic kingdom to even have a shot at tron and you will definitely have to buy individual lightning lanes to have a chance

You also need to assume an hour to get from 1 ride in 1 Park to another ride in another park.
It would probably be possible, but the lines for these rides can push up to 3 or 4 hours. 1 ride has a 200 min wait and you are done.
100% you could do this in 2 days.

Tron does not have a regular stand by line. You will have to either purchase Individual Attraction Selection or join the virtual queue. The virtual queue opens at 7am and then again at 1pm. The virtual queue sells out in literally seconds.
You can do 4 parks and 4 rides in each, but it won’t be the ones you mentioned.

This is why I hate the new system at Disney and I didn’t want to be bothered by it

Yes, it’s doable.
I’ll post more tomorrow but what is your exact date?

We will be at Orlando from June 4-June 9. We will probably go to Universal on Monday the 5th and we were thinking if we do go to Disney it will be that Tuesday the 6th or Wednesday the 7th.

Only did Universal Studious (between your 2 picks), bc I live in FL and like rides. Disney isn't for me. I like US, and a day is great, especially with a Fast-Pass but the rides and price point at Tampa Busch Gardens are amazing. Great roller-coasters. Seriously, great. It's a hike down the I-4, but really worth it. Better rides (if you like excitement) than Disney & US. US has the cool Harry Potter rides, the Hulk, Spiderman, etc. But as someone who loves actual roller-coasters and not so-much virtual rides, BG is great. Have fun!
