These two weren't even on my radar. Thanks

I am going to try to make it over there for a day; staying in Canyons again.

Nothing says the start of ski season like A-Basin firing up their snowmaking....

After having to purchase both an Ikon and Epic last season, I'm just sticking with Epic this season.

Nothing will beat last season - Breck, Park City, Steamboat, Telluride and last minute invite to ski Argentia in Sept.

As of now, I just have Breck booked for Jan and Feb. Will probbaly throw in Jackson Hole and stay w/family but thats about all.

Which other resorts in Utah, other than Park City, offer a good village that offers other things to do for wives that do not ski? I just started looking at Sundance and Snowbasin.

None, sadly. All the resorts besides PC are drive up, ski for the day, and hit the road. Snowbird and Solitude do have ski-in/ski-out lodging, but there isn’t really a “village” maybe a few restaurants and a bar, but that’s about it. If you don’t mind a drive/bus ride up the mountain, you could stay in Salt Lake area. Or Ogden if you want Snowbasin.

Picked up a couple 4-packs for Loveland. Want to hit it more often this season. I'll still hit Summit County mountains + Vail/Beaver Creek with the free Summit Foundation medallion I have access to. Saving up more PTO than usual to get some powder weekdays in. Time to start focusing on legs in the gym again.

I know the east coast gets no love around here but I’m headed back to Stowe for the entire winter; hyped.

It gets love from me. Stowe and Killington are high on my list. Hope they have a good season like last year

Went snowboarding for the first time last year, was absolute dogshit at it (though it was very icy) until the last day. Can't wait to go again

I thought the short drive from airport to Park City was over-hyped,

If the town sucked or there wasn't alot of terrain or a variety of terrain or alot of accommodations I might be different but it's by far my favorite resort and the proximity to the airport is unbeatable.

Picked up this old Burton board for $100. Still in great shape. Cleaned it up, waxed it, and put on new bindings and stomp pad yesterday. My arsenal is ready. Bring on the snow

Keystone and A Basin both opened over the weekend. Season’s open.

LOL, I guess they're technically open but it's shitty up this way. All manmade. One run.

Maybe get a little bit tonight and then after that? The early Nov openings are looking dubious.

My son is working in Deer Valley this season. We're traveling with him the week before Thanksgiving to get him settled.. Kind of jealous.

Hey Ron...any suggestions on a good place to find a consolidated list of events in Park City for Sundance this year? I am thinking the events calendar in Facebook because I always get updates from The Cabin, Downstairs, etc.

Not totally sure... Maybe Park City Website? There's not much on it for January yet, but maybe as it gets closer. November has like 50 events showing.
