I ended up having a great day too once I got through the traffic which was worse than MLK weekend. Seriously, they first person to hit their brakes on Saturday morning on I70 should get hit with a tac hammer. The snow was decently heavy at times and laid down a nice layer of dust.

I haven’t skied Winter Park before this year and today was day 9. I hear Eagle Winds is awesome but that’s yet to open. By far the best runs on the mountain are all off the Challenger lift. I don’t mind that old, slow 2-man chair; gives me a little recover time. The steep section of Tressal is no joke.

Week of April. Typically how’s skiing early April? I did some Searches online and some say it’s the best month, what say pro’s here?

I don’t think anyone has mentioned that Tahoe is about to get slammed with a 100” storm this week.

Bayoubengals did a few pages back because he was worried about the lack of snow for his trip. Think 180" of snow will do

Yep, looks like the long term forecast I posted is holding up nicely. With any luck we’ll have warmer and sunnier weather with 6ft on the ground!

SLC Utah has been getting the goods since I got here on Sunday.

Stashes have been holding up, despite the wind. Today’s afternoon at Snowbird was all time with free refills and super ploppy landings.

Mormons for everyone.

Mammoth is getting super heavy now. Hope you NorCal bros are taking advantage.

Happy trails boys and girls. Nothing better than being on top of a mountain where you can see everything.

Problems disappear. Mountains won’t.

EDIT:
Photo. I keep diaries on my decks. That’s what the writing is.

Thanks. It’s hard to remember all the paces I’ve ridden. Over 20 US resorts.

I booked a premier 2 bed/2 bath condo at the Village at Breckenridge today for the first week in April. I decided Breck might be safer(snow wise) later in the season due to elevation.

Anyone ever stay at the Village at Breckenridge? The location on a map looks great, but I've never been to Breckenridge.

Doing the same this weekend. One thing I didn’t like is your lift tickets have to be used in consecutive days. Was told due to covid and limitations on slope numbers.
And Good Lawd family ski school is expensive, especially since you also must purchase lift tickets in addition to cost of school.

Damn...that wasn't the case in the past...or not when I bought family lessons years ago.
