Last day at Winter Park. They opened up Pano in the afternoon just in time for one last run down on untouched groomed trails. Hit Mary Jane trail for my last run. Taking tomorrow off, staying in Dillon not sure what there is to do. Skiing Vail on Sunday.

I am looking at for a ski-in/out in Park City.
Wife doesn’t ski. She would like a room that overlooks the runs coming down to the base. What area do y’all recommend, Mountain Village or The Canyons?

Grab a six pack and head to the unofficial tubing hill next to the legit tubing hill on the way to Breck and watch people get concussed.
I’m heading to WP early in the morning hoping to get a spot on the MJ side and be back in Denver for 2p.

I don’t believe either really has lodges amongst the runs. Canyons has one or two that have the end of some blue runs go past it. Mountain village really doesn’t have any lodges or any building for that matter amongst the runs only at the base. That said Canyons has more lodges at the base to choose from and would probably be better for your needs. Unless you’re a baller and can afford to rent one of the mansions on the canyons side (if they even rent them out). Just open up google maps at look at the bases for your options.
I went down a rabbit hole of looking at all the houses on The canyons side. Good grief they have some massive houses. Found one on realtor.com for just under $18 million.

This sounds like fun. Is this next the the Frisco park or another hill?

Anyone have a recommendation on a good ski and boot bag? Thinking I need a single ski bag that rolls

I have a douchebag. I really like it.

Thanks for the rec plus it's from nearby. Other option was REI and dakine bags. I'll only use this bag maybe once or twice a year since i can drive to most places

I have a Dakine. I’ve never used it but it does fold nicely for storage.
Skied Winter Park today. The few inches of snow were very welcome. Hopefully the projected 8-10” over the next few days comes through. Anything above the tree line or open to the wind has been very slick. Parking in one of the Mary Jane lots on the mountain side is a game changer.

I have the Burton wheelie gig bag. Lifetime warranty.
Ive had it around fifteen years now. It’s is starting to get some holes in it from baggage handling. Great bag.

I just booked my first ever ski trip for February at Park City Mountain. I didn't realize how high the prices would be for a lift pass...$750 for one person for four days! Anyone have any tips/tricks/booking agencies to get discounts?

It’s too late for this now, but booking early (before November) saves a lot depending on the resort.

Find people that have Epic passes, make arrangements to piggyback off their passes to buy a ‘friend’ pass for yourself. It’ll be cheaper.
That’s your best best now.

It’s a cheaper bag but for the price, functionality and amount of use it’ll get its a good deal. Also folds up to fit in a closet or under a bed.
My ski season may be done unfortunately. Flipped over my bike today and got a hairline fracture in my radius. Hopefully it can heal and i can get some late feb/early March turns.

Ouch man, hope it's not too uncomfortable for the next month or so. Got any X-rays to share?
If you're out and about in March let me know, I'll be around. Didn't end up going to baker last weekend due to tiredness and the snow's kinda crappy so cancelled crystal for tomorrow. Hoping snow over the next week picks up again.

I feel like people did not realize that the Douchebag is a thing.
I typically travel with the Douchebag with two pairs of skis, helmet, and all my equipment with the exception of boots. I carry on my boots.
It is extremely lightweight and has little structure but can roll up small. I have a Dakine bag as well, and I prefer the Douchebag by a considerable margin. It wheels easily, and I can attach my boot bag to it as well.
Everything arrives nice and protected.

I didn't downvote you above but I was definitely in this boat before you provided the picture and explanation

Skied Vail today, snow was better than Winter Park but still a few thin/icy spots. Amazing how much of the mountain they have open with the amount of snow they have had. Back bowls were still fun though...

Ha, I figured. Yeah, it is Blister’s bag of the year every year.
