Looks like a little fresh snow at most places this weekend, a few dry days, then good snowy weather for all us mardi gras coonasses headed up this weekend!

Headed to copper with a few couples from thibodaux.

Abasin announced today that they will not renew their relationship with Vail Resorts next season. No idea if they will bundle up with other resorts passes or just have their own.
We’ll most likely be independent next season but Al is definitely looking for the right partner. I think we’ll eventually land on the ikon though I’d rather see a pass with all the independent mountains in CO.

I-70 is definitely going to be a cluster on Saturday morning, especially if we get snow. Keystone is having a gumbo cook off that should be easy to win on the 5th if that sounds like something that you’d like to do

Headed to Steamboat Saturday. Can't wait! The snow is much better this year than the past couple years.

Ikon passes for 19/20 season go on sale March 5th. They are doing installment payments this year, giving you a discount on kids passes with the purchase of an adult and giving access to some resorts in April this year with next years pass.

It’s a good price too. I think I may roll with Ikon this year.

Have had the Ikon(formerly RMSP+) the past few years after having the Epic pass for several years before that and I prefer the Ikon. Curious though to see if Epic does anything different for 19/20 season in attempt to bring back prior pass holders.

News here is saying 1-3' in the mountains between now and Saturday night. Yes, measuring it in feet! I'm staying in Vail all weekend but hope the pass is open to get there manana and home Sunday.

Anyone ever been to Angel Fire, NM to ski? Going near there for work soon.

Went to deer valley last weekend. Killer mountain!

Angel Fire

It's good skiing but the entire experience is very rustic. Not saying that's a bad thing.

Going from Deer Valley to Angel Fire is like going from Malibu to Fort Walton Beach. Still a good time but don't expect the Ritz.
