$44.50 Spectrum internet, OTA antenna $75 one time charge forever, smart tv (Vizio) with chromecast & apple tv cast, roku, PC in wireless network, & I promise I can watch any movie, sports, or show out there. 99% with no additional charges. I was paying $225 a month for dish and internet, now $44.50.

Just cancelled Cox internet and TV (was paying $178-$220/month) and signed up for ATT Fiber and Playstation Vue. My bill will be around $105/month, and I feel I’m getting better service in return.

I’m so tech challenged that reading these make my head hurt. Bad. Guess I’ll just keep paying.

Just watch a few YouTube videos.
Once you get it down, you'll be thankful.
I haven't missed a single sporting event/TV program that I really wanted to watch in over 5 years.
There's obviously some conveniences that you sacrifice, but imo, that is largely offset over being nickel-and-dimed by the cable/satellite company.

We've looked at doing this but then we lose the DirecTv and dsl bundle discount. Did you have this issue as well?
Posted on 11/26/19 at 11:30 am to Topisawtiger
The only issue I have right now is my IPTV does not have secn alternative.
Posted on 11/26/19 at 10:10 pm to Jjdoc
What IPTV service are you using? Gears is gone and I’m looking for a highly stable IPTV service.

Question regarding streaming off
Verizon Mi-Fi
I get a good signal on the patio of my lake house but not so much inside.I'm able to stream but it's hit and miss and sometimes works well.
Would a Mi-Fi booster help if I locate the Mi-Fi outside and booster next to the TV?
I'm just talking about a Mi-Fi amp not a Verizon signal amp (much more expensive)

Lol at anyone who thinks youtube tv, hulu tv, sling, etc are good deals. Crap channels at high prices(considering the lineups).
Philo has 10xxxxx better channels and lower prices. Finally a company who is actually putting the channels people want on their service. NO ONE wants 3 cheddar tv channels. No one wants 3 BET channels.
And how can you have food network, but not cooking channel?

Yes,I get all that but this isn't a permanent solution.I bring my Verizon Mi-Fi up to remote location and my Hulu account (I already get an unlimited data package with the Mi-Fi which I'm very happy with) I get a good signal outside the house with the Mi-Fi but not so much inside.Just wondering if a particular Mi-Fi booster would improve my streaming and if a particular one is recommended.
ETA Nevermind. There's a post about the subject below...some good advice

Philo is crap. They have 2 BET's, 2 Cheddars and 4 MTV's and ZERO sports. That's why it's $20

Recently cut my Google Fiber cable which I was paying $125/month for cable and switched to YouTubeTV $50/month.
Very pleased so far. Only thing I miss is History Channel (Vikings) and Paramount (Yellow Stone).

I have Hulu LIVE TV and am very happy with it but am past the promo price, they jacked it up and I may as well pay cable and not stream.
Anybody here tried YouTube TV recently? They have locals and it looks like a schedule line up of LIVE TV.
Vue is phased out in 5 days and DIRECTTVNow looks awful now.

Agreed, Philo is crap. To: anyone that has Roku-- Pluto TV is free and is has the comedy channel.

+1 on YouTube TV. I was using Uverse at $160/month and now am paying $50/month. YouTube tv is user friendly and has everything I need. I highly recommend it as long as you have reliable internet.
