I recently cut the cable. Wasn't sure at first if I could get used to it, but that quickly went away and now I'm a fan. I really appreciate the advice on this thread.

I use IPTV 007 & it works great. No complaints.

For a free back up, this is a very good site with about 50 of the basic channels. Very stable streams & few ads.

For anyone looking for a fantastic movie/TV series library app that includes box arts and movie info, the app "Nova video player" is by far the best for accessing and viewing your library of local video files.

I was looking into IPTVs and just came across this article about DISH going after the users of IPTV services now NOT just the ones selling it. Not sure how they find out or what, just food for thought....

Sounds like they're forcing these people to pay them money to avoid going to court. That seems questionable. Also, if the viewers are now getting in trouble with the law over this stuff, what about watching copyrighted content on Youtube?

The resellers cough up their clients t list in exchange for reduced charges/fines/whatever.

This might actually have legs, since they have your PayPal or credit card info. You cant hide behind an IP address for that. Best to contact an attorney in that case. And pay for IPTV with BTC to be on the safe side. Not that that would truly be effective still, it might just raise the effort level beyond their willingness to try though.

You dont have to give your credit card/PayPal for YouTube though.

I did the same thing recently. Got a MBox from Android TV, downloaded Troypoint than IP vanish, SportzTV, Cinema and area 51 as a backup, LOVE it after upgrading my modem.

We have made the following recent changes: Increased Access, Core, Elite, and Ultra monthly package price by $5. As an existing customer, you will keep your current price for a minimum of 30 days.

The new price will be reflected on your next billing cycle after July 31, 2019. Added channels to the lineup, including CuriosityStream, beIN Sports, BabyFirst, and moved Tennis Channel to a wider audience.

I've been using Vue for the past two years and have had no complaints. I got this email today & it's making me want to try out YoutubeTV. I was looking into it & it appears you can't get Redzone on YTTV.

I know about reddit streams but they've been cracking down on that. Those with YTTV, how are you going about getting redzone? Am I missing something?

I moved into a house that appears to have a nice outdoor antenna, but it’s not connected to anything. I really don’t want to crawl in my attic in july heat to connect said antenna to my two tvs. Are there any services available to do that for me? Any tips for doing it myself to make it faster/easier/less miserable? Any chance that I still won’t get cbs or ABC (as is the case with my cheap rabbit ears currently) in BR?

If I still can’t get cbs over the air, what’s the best way to stream the football games on network tv?

Dude just go in your attic and scan the place for connection points

If it’s too hot for you, go at night

Pardon my ignorance, but can someone tell me the difference between gears tv and tuff gears (if any). Want to pull the plug and have heard that gears is great but then i saw on here someone talking about tuff gears. Also I have an Apple TV. Would that pair with that or do I need a fire stick. Lastly, is a VPN necessary as well? Thanks

Tuff gears and gears reloaded is the same thing. I’m not sure if Apple TV works with it. I use fire tv and it’s pretty flawless. I would use a vpn for your own protection.

Drob.tech is their website. Or at least the one I signed up on. Should say there what devices support it.

Are there any DVRS that will record Sling as well as Antenna?

The AirTV Player does this. It combines the streaming and OTA channels into a single guide.

It's not the most robust product in the world. I occasionally get dropouts a few seconds long, and have to reset the box on rarer occasions.

Update: the antenna works and gets both cbs and abc clearly. Also, I discovered that the line from outside that I suspected ran to the bedroom in fact does, and works, so I now have all local channels in there. I’m still not sure where all of the wires are going at the moment nor am I exactly sure what is what beyond that. I’m going to try and run a line off of that outdoor antenna to my living room this weekend, since there doesn’t appear to be one that terminates anywhere nearby.
