Have been a long time user of the note series. (note line has been absorded into galaxy) I have tried pretty much every other phone and I keep coming back to the Samsung. I like to jot down shorthand notes so the pen feature is something I cannot live without.

My last experience with Samsung (S8+) was initially very good, but the quality of the phone degraded over time. By the end, the charging port was pretty flakey, and there were too many apps that did the same things, but never as good/well supported as on the iphone that replaced it, (11 pro max.)

Still using the iphone 11 pro max to this day and it works like the day I bought it. (3.5 years ago) Couldn't say that about any android phone I had including HTC One+.

I think if I was going to buy a new android, I'd get the updated Pixel. The 7 series is what the 6 series should have been upon release. It seems to have resolved many of the issues the 6 had.

Just like any other phone. I did like the ability to pop in a micro SD card in and out and then they axed that.
Biggest grip is no built in FaceTime feature like iPhone...

For about 5 years I would switch from the newest Iphone to the newest Galaxy every year. I eventually stayed with Iphone and have not regretted it one bit.

The only thing I didn’t like about the SSeries is it took too long to get a system update after google releases it, but that may change since the high end phones will all have the same processor with the new generation.

Yeah, they used to be really slow about getting out updates, or they allowed carriers to drag it out way too long. I think Samsung said the new flagships will get 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security updates.

I experimented with the galaxies for a few years during the s8 & s9. Don’t think I’ll be going back. It was a nice change of pace but after a few years I was really missing iOs

For those that don't like this, it was quite simple. iOS is silky smooth and iphones are just faster over a longer period. The androids I used both became "sluggish" in comparison. iMessage is also far superior and the comparability with other apple products just makes things easier.

High end phones are all the same these days from spec standpoint. It's about what you're used to.
If you're coming from os, I wouldn't recommend. If you're an android person, it's fine.

I've had a Galaxy Note20 for 2 or 3 years now and it still works great for me.

They're the best android phones. They've fixed their update and UI shortcomings. I wish there were more competition. The only others worth considering are Pixel and One Plus. Sony could compete, but they don't seem interested.

Great phones. I had the s22 ultra and now fold z4. I use whatsapp for video calling with iPhone and android users. Works great.

I need to get another phone besides my pixel. Google turned off call recording for third party apps. I need it for my job for when I talk to someone for an hour or more and need to go back and listen when I write.

Galaxy and OnePlus have them baked into their dialers. So I'm looking at Ultra23

S23 will have a better battery than the S22.

Many had issues with the battery on the S22 because it wasn't much better than the S21.
