Is the Pixel 5 my next phone?

Still have the OG Pixel XL with no issues. On Verizon, and they usually have some good Black Friday deals. Plus by then, I'll have $65 of device dollars to put towards it.
MSRP of $699. The 4a(5g) is pretty close spec wise for $499.

Pre ordered the 5. I have the 3XL. Starting to wonder if I shouldn't bail and get the 4a 5g. Not sure if I'm going to be ok with the 6" screen. Wish they would have made an XL.

I just pre-ordered one. I have a 2 that's going on 3 years and still doing well, but I just want to be safe.
It says the chipset is 765 instead of the 835 on my 2...will I notice, or will the increased RAM obscure the delta?
Interesting that it comes in only one storage capacity: 128GB

I think I'm hanging on to my 3xl a little bit longer. I like that the 5 brings back the fingerprint scanner and the wide-angle lens would be really helpful for me, but I wish it had an XL version and I wish it was a little more powerful.

The fingerprint sensor is quite literally in the perfect spot. Have you ever used a Pixel?

I don't know why. but this made me laugh. Oh the horror of having to pick up your phone.
I like it being on the back, but am indifferent to wherever it would be. I might thing otherwise if I ever have a phone with it on the front again.
Back to OP, Amazon is having their prime day in a few weeks. A lot of retailers are planning to do something in response. This probably will not affect phone prices, but you may want to keep your eyes open just in case.
