Then I will switch to uverse for a year and pay $80 for 1gpbs for a year. Then switch back the following year. Like I’ve done twice already.

We pay $90 for 150 Mbps from Cox, no cable or any other service. A lot of South BR is getting fiber so it will be available soon in most areas.

That must be the promotional 12 month price. Our bill for the middle tier (150 Mbps) is $90 with no other services.
ETA - the 300 Mbps is $95 for the first 12 months
