Google Pixel Phones.... Why are they so bad?

First off all let me state, I've been with Pixel since the flood of 2016. So I have plenty of experience with the phones and I've had 4 versions of the Pixel.
Pro's: international calling/texting, plan is fantastic, customer service is fantastic
Con's: seems like every 6 months my phone quits charging, when I lost my phone I could not get anyone from Google to help me because they kept sending a confirmation code to my phone, right now if I restart my phone I'm stuck on the loading screen for 40 minutes or longer, service is hit or miss as sometimes I'm in an area where I have 0 reception and my GF with Verizon has 3 bars.
Right now I'm dealing with if my phone needs to be restarted (which I tend to do once a week) the phone takes 30-40 minutes to load back up. This phone is only 4 months old as I had to trade it in because the previous one would not charge anymore, which was a problem with the phone before that. I'm actually on my 5th Google Pixel 3a XL since they came out.
I went through something similar with a previous version as it seemed every 3-4 months it would quit catching a charge and I would have to put in a claim of $99 each time.
Not sure if I'm just having shitty luck or it is a bad phone. From Google it seems like a bad phone as they have so many complaints about the same shite I've been experiencing.

I don’t know man. I had a pixel 2 and a 3aXL. Never had any problems out of them other than a crackling top speaker when volume was all the way up on speakerphone.

Mine seems to scratch very easily.

Bought a used pixel 4xl like 2 months ago and I love it

I've only had a 3XL and have experienced nothing that you've suggested.

I've had the Pixel, Pixel 2XL, Pixel XL, Pixel 3, and now Pixel 3a XL

You probably spill too much beer on your phones.

I actually have never spilt water or beer on my phone's, I'm fairly careful with them. Most of my issues involve sound, charging, and not turning back on.

I'm still on the pixel 2xl and it's easily the best phone I've ever owned. Almost time to upgrade though. Just to keep up with tech.

I went from pixel XL to pixel 3xl bought off swappa so I want expecting perfection but I haven't had any problems like you are describing.
The pixel 3xl has fantastic battery life and I don't think I've had it glitch out yet

Love my Pixel. I had the original and now the 3a. No problems.

Apparently I'm in the minority along with the Google complaints I've come across

I've had my 2XL since its release and it's still going strong. No scratches and it's a very rare occasion that I need to turn on battery saver to make it through the day on one charge (basically just LSU gamedays).

I mostly choose the Google line of phones(nexus, pixels) because of the Google environment but I've never thought they where the best phones out there. I had to rma my first pixel 3 as I had the camera shutter issue and couldn't take a decent photo. The replacement is okay, but occasionally I get the lock screen blinding flash that's been reported. Battery has been good with this one.
My first pixel had shitty battery, but I just assumed it's because I abused it heavily.
My nexus devices I had to open to do the antenna trick to get a decent signal.
None of this enough to push me to iPhone though I've been considering the Samsung phones for the next one. We'll see.

I've had the nexus, nexus 4, nexus 5, nexus 6, nexus 5x, pixel XL, pixel 2xl, and pixel 3xl. And they have all be great. But I have gone through 2 3xls in 2 months. I stayed with 2xl for so long because the 3s and 4s havent been up to par spec wise.

I had a pixel 1 and now have a 3. I'm pretty sure this is my last pixel. I'll see what the pixel 5 brings but I think I'm going to Samsung.

Yea I bought a used 2XL on Amazon early last year and this might be the best phone I've ever had. I've had no issues and the battery is still performing great. I see no reason to upgrade anytime soon.
My only complaint is no headphone jack

I’ve had every Pixel since launch. Zero issues.

My husband's Pixel 2XL had issues under warranty. Google replaced with refurb that also had issues. They sent another refurb. We both still have the 2XLs but we'll probably go back to Samsung next.

I have used multiple Pixel, Galaxy, Motorola and iPhones over the years, often at the same time and the Pixel phones are by far the best...
