This helps, plus I've found my pixels to be picky when it comes to the cords and power bricks that will charge it. Off-brands don't do so hot with it.
I've had a 2XL and 3XL and had zero issues. I'm a huge fan of them after being on iPhones for a decade. That said, I have a hard time recommending them because I do hear so many problems with them. I guess I've just been lucky.
