I had directv now for almost a year and bounced. Gave my in laws a nice steak dinner for their cable login. If I had to go back at this point I’d just get a traditional cable/internet bundle. Streaming services are being clinton’d.

$8/month for 3000+ channels and a huge library of on demand movies.

I can't record anything though.

The live a little package is great for me and with my $15 discount + Free HBO it'll be $35 instead of $25. YouTube TV still misses some channels I like

I'm in my free trial week with DTV Now, and was planning to jump providers to them later this week.

Nope. Staying put and will continue to look around.

Update: I canceled DTV Now before they could bill me for the first month and explained that their 25% increase caused me to keep looking around.

It was good while it lasted. Streaming cable has morphed back into regular cable/satellite.

I've been using Youtube TV and have the $3 Hulu addon for Spotify which has Nickelodeon to keep the little one happy.

I'm in the OG group, and mine went up to $45. I'm still pretty satisfied with 105+ channels, HBO, and DVR for that price. I don't really watch TV all that much anyway, so it's good for what I use it for. It's much better than what it was when I first joined

You mean to tell me that companies introduce products at a lower price than their competitors and then raise the price later on? No, never.

The number of channels they are cutting is stunning. I've been with them since December 17 and what I have is still probably the best deal I can get. But I'm sure they'll axe it within a year.
Youtube TV looks pretty darn good for $40 a month.

I agree. I'm to the point where I just want the cheapest service I can get that will allow my kids to log into the Disney app for their on demand shows and my wife and I can use watchESPN for collegiate sports. We only use DTVN for ESPN, SEC Network, and local news in the morning.

Still have not gotten the email on the $10 bump.

But, if what I read holds true I am at the grandfathered channels for $55 a month including HBO.

What is a better deal with HBO? Game of Thrones is about to start and only an internet outage stops me from watching.

DTV Now just sent me an email....I can still keep the Go Big package at a 10/month increase which puts me at 50/month.....I'll stay for 50 anymore and I'm trying Hulu TV.

I agree. I have been with DTVN for almost 2 years and have had no complaints at all. The email I got yesterday said that if you want to keep what you currently have you can but it will cost $10 more per month, but if you ever switch to something else, you can't get back the package that you had (have). Compared to the new packages they are offering and the discounts I get, I won't mind paying more to keep what I've got. I have friends with DTVN that are shopping around though.
