Trent would have only been an option in the groups, too poor defensively after that.
Happy to get to half time there though.
I want us to have a foot on the ball and keep possession, but you can tell from the directness we are playing with it's a counter attacking set up so we likely won't

This second half is gonna be wild.
Feel like if England can keep them out of the net through the hydration break they’ll be in good shape. Mexico gonna wear themselves out trying to get that equalizer.

England doesn't even have to get fancy offensively. Just hoof it into the corner and send in crosses until the wingers' feet are purple. Mexico has no answer for aerial battles with the English forwards.

Regardless if you hate Mexico or just really dislike them, their urgency and fight those last 10 minute was "fabuloso"!
