The main TV announcer for each game should have a British accent

Reduce the number of teams/groups so we get better group play matchups, and less time between teams playing.

What else?

He's an obvious Chicken alter.

I would do the same thing if I owned the site.

There's no putting the toothpaste back in the tube when it comes to number of teams.

A rare double miss by the cluckster. We could do without a 3 week tournament

Fox should have broadcast rights revoked

The announcers are what they are, and British ones don't equal good either.

I prefer watching the premier league in Spanish over blokes like Lee Dixon.

They could def adjust the scheduling. Some days more games on than others and the 11pm games suck. That's still a local 9pm start time.

I thought you were going to list some of the American classics

No “offsides”

Smaller penalty “box”

Bigger goal

Move PKs back

I've been just as entertained this go around than any other WC. There were a couple blowouts, but there also a lot of surprises with how some of these lower ranked countries have done.

I don't understand the "less time between games" though. There's typically only been an hour or two between games this year.

It just so happens I have tuned in to see France, Portugal and Spain blow outs.

Had to turn them off.

All US games should be played in SEC stadiums.

It happens in every world cup. Group stage in 2022, there were about 3-4 blowouts. This one, there have been 5-6, plus more teams / more games.

Most if not all, can't meet the required FIFA dimensions for an officially sanctioned match. None of those stadiums were built with soccer in mind. All the new stadiums in the US have taken that into consideration.

Make it work. We need an SEC environment, not some nerds singing cringe ahh songs like wannabe Europoors.

Not too many teams could handle the temperatures of SEC country in the summer. Nor could their fans. The feels like 108 temps can get dangerous. The Norwegians would sunburn in 3 minutes and melt by halftime

My only 2 gripes are the hydration breaks being way too long and then the late start time for the last game of the day. Everything else has been quite awesome.

It’s called home field advantage. Not our fault they can’t handle the heat of the SEC grind.
