Interesting fact I stumbled upon today.
Gio Reyna hasn't played a full 90-minute club league game in four years.

Makes sense, even when he was healthy and getting starts for club and country, he always seemed to hit the fitness wall at the 60-70 mark.

People are up in arms over Reyna’s inclusion, but I’m more annoyed by hustle merchant Aaronson.

Rumblings that Tessmann is out due to injury. Still shocked we’re rolling with 4 midfielders. I feel like scally or someone could have been left off for one more midfielder.

Those people haven't been watching the USMNT then.

Regardless of his club form, he has been one of our better players this entire cycle, whether that's been under BJ, Gregg v2 or Poch.

He was the best player on the field versus our literal World Cup opening opponent not even a year ago!

If Roldan plays, then we better have the game in the bag already.

I think Weston plays much more defensive in this system than he would have at Juve.

So disappointing that Musah fell off.

I’m pumped he is in.
He breaks an attitude that the USMNT badly need.

Frustrating to have a 3rd CB on the field and Weah on the bench. But we’re not going to just outscore anyone anyway.

He balled out in the Oct window, especially versus Australia. Hes one of those cases where he took full advantage of his opportunity and ran with it.

I didn't want him to be called in at all, but I dunno how he could be left out when he's played well every time he's been called on.

With Tessman out. That may get the trio of weah dest and mckennie on the field to start together. With mckennie so flexible from wing to holding he gets played in the other midfield spot with Adams. Dest r wing back and weah winger. Otherwise if mckennie is pushed up as he has been there has t been room for both dest and weah. I know weah would rather be farther back in the formation. But he and dest would give you a lot of flexible coverage for each other

For those curious about the league breakdown.

MLS: 9 (all 3 goalkeepers)
EPL: 4
Ligue 1: 3
Bundesliga: 3
Eredivisie: 2
Serie A: 2
La Liga: 1
SPL: 1
Liga MX: 1
Championship: 1 (promoted to EPL)

Midfield will be fine. Tessman and Roldan are a wash as both are starters for above average teams in their league and MLS is at the level or better then Ligue 1 according to multiple people on this site.

You’re not arguing Roldan is better than Musah I hope…
