We still had over 30 minutes left in the game when that happened. We had all the time in the world to fight back in front of our home crowd, down one. God I’m still frothing at the mouth over that.

Here’s a collection of guys that just missed out, were injured, could potentially develop and surprise us, or too young to make it this time.

Some of them are obviously more exciting than others:

Zavier Gozo, Diego Luna, Johnny Cardoso, Tanner Tessman, Patrick Agyemang, Gianluca Busio, Cameron Carter Vickers, Niko Tsakiris, Jack McGlynn, John Tolkien, Joshua Wynder.

There are probably more guys currently on the periphery that could wind up back in the fold like Ream. There are probably a dozen more mls kids that could be added to the list.
He was the best player on the field versus our literal World Cup opening opponent not even a year ago!
People are up in arms over Reyna’s inclusion, but I’m more annoyed by hustle merchant Aaronson.

Rumblings that Tessmann is out due to injury. Still shocked we’re rolling with 4 midfielders. I feel like scally or someone could have been left off for one more midfielder.
You always go fast when you’re the team that’s losing. Now we trust the defenW
This is reminding me a lot of Vandy and Kentucky
All that good work Jada did diving on the ball she totally wasted with the last two offensive possessions. Feed 4 when she’s hot!
Y’all hear that sound? The motherfricking avalanche is coming
Fulwiley is going nuts this game, help her out ladies.
Might have to double Fournier, she’s cooking our arse.
Different energy to start this half. Put the pedal to the metal
What a disaster that last defensive possession was lmao
It would be ridiculous to me if we still draw UConn in the elite 8. Surely we’re higher now than the last time they released the top 16 teams bracket
Lmao that’s how you use your last timeout????
If we’re going small, why not try and press them? Letting them get position down low to back us down is not a smart strategy.
Having Knox and Joyner attempt to attack the basket from like 14 feet on two straight possessions cannot happen. All those guards out their and cinderblock hands trying to dribble?
