Some of the guys he past over after seeing them on a call or two are falling because he didn’t play them to their strengths.

Sargent is my biggest beef, and I’m not even some huge Sargent guy. He brought him in and basically never had him check back to post up and receive the ball, which is one of his main skills! And then it seems like he decided “he didn’t perform, so I’m not calling him back in.”

I feel the opposite way with Arfsten. He brings in a super offensive minded LWB to play LB. This guy repeatedly gets toasted over a spit and is defended vs Saudi Arabia like a bad three point shooter, and he has him start almost every game! That dude has almost zero future with the national team as a LB, what a total waste
Skipping out this summer? Wasn’t that basically just Pulisic and maybe Musah? Everyone else was hurt or at the CWC (or Poch left at home)
That Poch quote is incredible. I had a friend that doesn’t watch much ask me if this was the B squad for us. I told him Mckennie, weah, Reyna, pepi, Sargent, balogun, dest, Robinson, Scally, Cardoso, wright, etc are out

Some of those are out for injury but some were just left home. You could probably even add a few guys like Trusty, Wiley, and Busio. His talent appraisal has been off and playing an offense first LWB in Arfsten as a LB ALL TOURNAMENT drove me nuts

Arfsten and Freeman are probably somewhere between 5-8 on the outside back depth chart and the forward were probably somewhere like 4-8

We don’t have to pretend these are The Guys™? when they so clearly aren’t
Feel like some of the biggest stock ups are guys that he inexplicably left off like Sargent, Scally, and Tessman. I can’t believe he started Arfsten, Freeman, and big Pat over and over, while also rarely subbing them. Really blows Dortmund didn’t release Reyna too.

Really wonder how many of these guys even make the roster next year, I’m honestly hoping it isn’t many.
When a team trades its pick for next year fully unprotected, usually it's done to materially upgrade the roster for the upcoming season so that pick gets devalued.

The Pelicans traded it for a late lottery rookie who, even in the best case scenario, is only minimally impacting their 2025-26 record
Quick google shows no such results for Serah. You got some inside info?
I will be optimistic when the next season rolls around, but for now I’m mourning the end of Aneesah in purple and gold. Just an absolute beast, and so fun to root for
Gilbert was extremely up and down all season. And when she didn’t have it, boy did she really not have it.

Also looked at her stats from last year and she had more turnovers than assists. Weird addition to the team. Feel like Wolfenbarger did not have many big contributions against our biggest opponents either
I just checked out Gilbert’s stats from last year, assuming she regressed once she hit lsu

She had more turnovers than assists at zona last year. When the biggest thing this team needed was a PG to run the offense and get the actual best players in good spots, why on earth do you bring in a guard that has more assists than turnovers?
I’d love to think we’ll be better next year, but replacing Aneesah will be a huge task. She was an absolute monster down the stretch, today not withstanding
The ref clear across the court changing the call, that’s abominable.
This team has a fetish for getting yelled at by Kim after horrible second quarters, sheesh
3rd game in a row where we’ve been terrible in the 2nd quarter. Just minimize the bleeding and we’ll be in a good spot for the second half
Their non Betts players look like shite, step on their throats
I know this is the offense we run, but I hate how slow it is. YOU’RE LOSING IN THE SWEET SIXTEEN
fricking run a play
It’s honestly incredible this team has no one that can shoot a three. The math is against us in instances like this
Earlier in the season, I thought she was the missing piece. Now she seems to be missing brain cells
