Would definitely be interesting. Last I heard while watching TyC was he wanted to test himself in Europe.

Yeah, like 8 or 9 years ago when he was taking college courses in New York. He has a condo there that he lives in the offseason.

If I had to make a bet though, I would say Anthony Hudson until June and then Jesse Marsch.

Yep. I think they ride the interim wave again, and see if Marsch holds onto the Leeds job, unless a big name reaches out and lets them know he’s interested (doubtful considering the clusterfrick that is USSF).

Jesse supposedly said he didn't want the job back before the World Cup. We need someone that does not have roots in US Soccer or MLS to stay away from those incestuous relationships. No more former USMNT players.

While I agree, to me Marsh would be my only exception. He has shown that he can actually tactically be effective in the best league in the world. His defense at Leeds is asswater tho

These cowards need to offer the soccer board the job.

A prerequisite of us getting Marsh is him getting fired from his Leeds job. Will he be viewed as the guy who got fired or the guy who helped Leeds get a win at Anfield?

Jesse feels like Gregg but just with a better agency. I don't think he is that much better of a coach and, like Gregg, runs a specific system that doesn't seem to get the best out of his attacking talent.

We should be aiming higher.

The only reason we are talking about Marsch is because he's American which should not be a prerequisite for the job

Who are some coaches you like for the job?

Right now, I don't know. It was Roberto Martinez until he took the Portugal job.

I think Bielsa would have a lot of issues as the coach of the national team.

He is obviously very intelligent and had success with the Chilean national team at the onset of their golden generation but I think his personality (which does seem to get more eccentric over time) is more suited to club teams than to a fairly fixed roster of players for 3-4 years.

I wouldn’t mind Joachim Low or someone who is at the same kind of place in their career he was at when he took over Germany. I hope they have a wide net for the search and aren’t only considering big names.
