Pepi is a decent playmaker, but sticking a guy with zero pace out on the wing is certainly a choice.

I’m worried this is a longer term injury and we may not seem him till a round of 16 game if we get that far.

Australia is going to park the bus. Poch wants goal scorers in the box.

Pulisic created the opportunities for the first two goals. We lose that catalyst and I’m worried. We need someone else to step up and we need to score early to give the team the confidence that they will be fine without him.

It means it's a real injury...not just a kick in the calf.

Now the question becomes how real of an injury.

I’m surprised Australia isn’t starting Irankunda

Are we just relying on Dest and McKinnie for creativity? Tillman given license to push forward aggressively? Idk.

Not sure how I feel about this XI against a team bunkering and countering

We got this shite. Might be a bit of a struggle without Pulisic, but 2-0 sounds about right. We've still got plenty of talent.

This is the kind of game when you need the Prince of American Football.

Gio Reyna.

Interested to see how Pepi handles the role. I’m seeing this as a 4-2-3-1 where Pepi plays in the middle of the 3 as a #10.

After that trivela last match, I'm inclined to agree with you

That’s how I see it. The one thing about Pepi that encourages me here (outside of his passing and scoring) is that he works his arse off in the press/counter-press. Excellent work rate to get balls back.

I don’t really have much worry here. Still, it will be interesting because we haven’t seen this particular dynamic. Still chilling with my cool 3-0 prediction.

Pretty nervous today. Not sure we can match our level against Paraguay.

I don't know what to do with my hands.
