I hope Gio comes on, scores a brace, and Berhalter gets so mad he kicks his wife again.

Why not Weah in his place? He at least has pace can take players on and can cross

This is the kind of game when you need the Prince of American Football.
Gio Reyna.
Pretty sure they want him to come in fresh in the second half to drive the final nail.
Hopefully Pepi can impress today!

No Pulisic makes this very interesting. We're going to have to create through the midfield. Tillman and McKennie need to be big today.
I also suspect Robinson will be the catalyst on the left side. Don't think it matters much who we slot into Pulisic's place.

I like gio off the bench. He is a creator and really benefits going against tired legs

Pulisic out is bad news. That dude was lights out all world in the first half and the attack suffered mightily without him.

Both Aussie goal scorers from their 1st match are on the bench

You think we lose to this lot…

USA is still more talented overall.
Players gonna have to make plays.

Pretty nervous today. Not sure we can match our level against Paraguay.
Honestly that was A level by this team. It's not the most talented team in the tourney. If this team plays B level today, they should still win. If they don't play well, then they can/will lose

I can't even imagine having balls so small that you play a 5-4-1. That's not even low-T. That's just straight up estrogen.

I’m nervous but still more confident than I’ve ever felt in the previous WCs. It’s incredibly important for us to score in the first 30 mins imo….otherwise pressure is gonna build quickly.
Aussies could get chippy. I’m excited. LFG!!!!

They want a draw out of the game today with Paraguay on deck. They can get 5+ points and be in

You can get a draw without putting 20 people in the box if you don't suck.

If we win today we win the group, yes?
