So if Turkey wins tonight, we have to pull for Australia on Thursday right.

We’d want a third place team in the round of 32

Don’t think it would matter. Turkey is the only team that could pass us in the group now, and they would have to win tonight and beat us Thursday.

Does head to head supersede goal differential?

Should always be a yellow if a player falls and thinks they got a foul and grabs the ball. Thats blatant

Exactly, if they win out and it’s a two way tie for first they win the group. If it’s a three way tie we likely win the group.

How’s downtown Seattle looking in terms of fan turnout?
Just got back. It was a good scene. The Aussie's were hilarious walking around pregame.

It was definitely the most boisterous actual singing of a Star Spangled Banner I've ever heard at an American event.

Crowd was also singing Livin' on a Prayer and Take Me Home Country Roads.

People hung around after for a long time.

I didn't see one single thing that was untoward or ugly.

The weather was absolutely perfect.

The only complete I have about the venue through 2 matches there this week is that they are very stingy with showing you the time. Several of the screens have a live broadcast with the time, tiny and up in the corner. Outside of that - as far as I could tell - literally, there is no other place that shows the time. That means if they show a replay or something like that, you cannot see a clock at all. It's really weird. They are also exceedingly stingy with replays.

I'm not trying to pollute this with politics, but it seems obvious to me that many Americans WANT to be doing things in public like pulling for American teams and people to do well and singing at the top of their lungs. They also seem to be sick of the chattering classes scorning them for even wanting to do such in the first place. It was a great atmosphere and a great day to be outside with your fellow Americans doing fun stuff together.
