The euro players were not going to come, another long season and played last summer. Clubs World Cup in general has all clubs running different.
Those guys need to rest before playing 50 matches then going to a WC where they will travel a frick ton of miles compared to most WC

Arfsten is not a left back, he’s a wingback converted from forward/winger who has few defensive responsibilities for Columbus. Tolkin is a better player and has proved he belongs in the Bundesliga and is a natural LB. Johnny is more of a defensive mid than he’s asked to be for the US. Paxten Aaronson is not a winger. Frankly it’s always felt a bit like Poch just has a very poor understanding of our pool.

Is it really that hard to train and develop an upper level keeper? It’s not like there’s dozens of different skills needed for the job

I agree, but I think they should have been present for the friendlies before being given the summer off.
Scally should be here instead of Harriel. Why didn’t Tolkin get called up initially? Do we really think Sargent is worse than Brian White? If Gregg made these decisions the board would be apoplectic.

Ok so if anyone on the pitch needs live reps it’s a GK
I was saying Turner should stay in MLS and not go to Arsenal because the shite defending in this league would keep him sharp.
At other positions it’s not as important because overseas everyone is fighting for a spot and not get relegated. So training is off the wall intense. But for GK at the club level there’s almost never an open competition for #1

He's actually been decent in Europe, but it always takes him a year or so before he figures it out, so to speak. I think his main issue though, is that he coaches finesse, that I honestly don't think we have that much of. These "young" players look like they're afraid to touch another player. They need to crawl up some asses, and mess up some buttholes; stop being the bottom. It is pride night after all.
