Not saying he is a magic bullet but to me Turner is clearly a superior shot stopper from the eye test and by all metrics. And while Steffen may be better with his feet, it often leads him into trouble. So, with that, give me the guy who will stop more shots

Turner's shotstopping metrics have taken a drastic dip for the Revs post Gold Cup.

But they made up for it in Nations League and the Gold Cup.

Oh wait.

This is by far the weakest we've been at GK heading into a World Cup.

Not sure about that. Meola was pretty bad. He gave up that shite near post goal against Romania. A lot of people overlook it because we already had 4 points and pretty much guaranteed a spot as at least a 3rd place team.

What’s even worse is this applies to us on both ends of the pitch. Steffen almost screwed us against Panama multiple times.

It's even more surprising David Ochoa bailed for Mexico considering he was right there for 3rd in the rotation.

Yep, granted, our GK situation seemed a touch more stable and promising then with Horvath becoming a hero and Turner playing out of his mind for NE.

Mexico's situation is wide arse open with Memo just about done and old arse Talavero still being their backup.

I'm fully on the Gaga train until proven otherwise.

Here's video of Musah, Reyna and Busio doing the griddy on the plane ride back to europe to brighten up everyone's evening.
