Jesus Christ can we stop the pissing contest and just enjoy the victory and how some of the new guys did?

Now it’s time to start getting nervous about the u23 Honduras match.

My frustration is ANY good manager regardless of the opponent will attack the weak area of the opponent. It’s great we are wanting to play out of the back which I enjoy watching.......but if a team is gonna recklessly press you, you have to play more direct. That is my frustration. These are the games to practice how to counter when a team is trying to take away what you want to do.

Exactly

But bc SCH says it some people throw a bitch fit

Yep

I'm having a beerbq at 4 today since the family will be all over the place on Easter so they'll probably be worried about how irrationally angry I'm gonna be if things don't go our way.

We tried it out but I have no interest in seeing the 3 man backline again anytime soon. Would rather another 8 in there than a CB

I didn’t mind the formation by and large, but I’m not sure you ever have enough time in a national team camp to realistically train on two formations

True, but we have no idea what they’ve been practicing. I thought overall the formation was ok, though there were some individual breakdowns that hurt us, more so in the first half even though NI scored in the second.

With our first choice lineup that could be very viable. I was presently surprised by the quality of the chances we created, especially in the second half.

Oh, and I’ll say this, if everyone’s healthy, I’m not sure Altidore would even make the roster for WCQ. Sargent and Dike have convinced me they’re 1 and 2 for now.

I agree. I feel he’s been pushed out of top 23 at this point.

Yep, but I have a feeling he'll be called on for Gold Cup or maybe even as an overage player for the Olympics.

...assuming he's healthy.

Pulisic is already tied for 12th all time in goals, how ridiculous

It's really nuts that he made his MNT debut five years ago.

Second fastest to 15 goals. Probably would have been first if we had made the last WC or if not for Covid

Young Pulisic remains remains our guy - so proud to have him as the face of US Soccer.

We need to stick with white on blue for our kits.

Also, bring back the bomb pops.
