yes, and he can get forward... so stoked for this signing!
Also, with many of the title winning side leaving last summer, there was the eventual fall off as a team and his price is not astronomical

You beat me to it, I remember this but blew it off never thinking that it was LFC. This usually gets out but it seems the current group has been able to keep some things away from the press until it’s done. I love this signing and better yet the amount is fair.

So that makes me suspect that all the Liverpool/Jorghino chatter could have just been smoke.

Oh, he may have been our first choice, but remember a week or 10 days ago it starting coming out that he was City bound.
So I have a feeling we knew early enough that we moved onto target 1b.

Except that the piece of news to which I was responding was this:

And that was TWENTY FOUR days ago.
If the rumor has any accuracy, we "agreed to terms" with Fabinho more than 3 weeks ago, so "losing" Jorghino 10 days ago doesn't fit that narrative.
Which is why I said (again, only if the rumor is accurate) the Jorghino stuff could have all been smoke.
