For Bellingham you absolutely break the transfer record… he has the potential to be a generational player… and yeah, Naby can roll… he really hasn’t developed like we thought he would, so I’m not sure he’s what we need going forward

I'm all for a new mid fielder
Still thinking Salah goes this summer
so more spending to come
You can't let an asset like that walk for nothing

We play the other top teams all away in the first half of the season sans City. I think that was the case our title year but with United as that team.

We must be the PL welcoming committee. Last few years, the openers have been Norwich, Leeds, Norwich, and now Fulham

I really don't like playing promoted teams first up. Always seems like a banana peel, but we've done well enough against them so far.

Seems our spending this window is done if the sources I am seeing are correct. Bellingham won’t be on the move for another year most likely, and next summer is where we are apparently looking to bolster our midfield.

Seems to me we’re playing a dangerous game this next campaign with most of our midfield contributors aging and/or leaving.

Either we win the league or miss out on Europe because we have no midfield due to injury. That’s the only two options I see here. Lol

I assume we will see a lot more of Curtis, Harvey, etc. Not a bad thing to trust in our youth, but bit of a gamble for what might be Salah’s last season. Maybe we should reach out to PSG and get Gini back on a cheap loan for some depth.

Official Sadio to Bayern for 27.5 million pounds plus add ons bringing total to 35.5 million pounds. Seems a bit low but I guess we'll take it. Thanks Sadio, you've been a hell of a player.

Now we need to re-sign Salah with the freed up wages from this.

Disappointed to see him go, but it was unfortunately always likely to happen this off-season. Diaz should be able to slot right in and not miss a beat.

Once you pay Salah the 450k a week he wants
then you have everyone else banging their cup.

I'm not saying with our success people don't deserve to get PAID but you have to stick to a successful business model

It’s not freed up. We simply have Darwin what we had been paying mane. Salah is gonna want what mane is making now. Don’t see that happening.

Its freed up in the sense that we dont have to re-sign Sadio to a bumper new deal... We really only have to focus on Salah now, instead of both of them. We have Bobby, too.. but something tells me he wont be asking for astronomical wages..

I don't think so. Outside of VVD, no other player can stake a claim to be the best in the world at his position. Possibly Alisson? If we can't break our business model for the best player in the world then we're basically telling players we are a stepping stone club. Come play for us, and if you end up becoming top 3 in the world move on to someone who will pay you what you deserve.

can't do that if you don't score important goals in the most important matches. mo had an opportunity to walk away with the ballon d'or this season and win 3 trophies, but he didn't step up.

Yea, Mo's terrible 2nd half of the season did not help his claim to that kind of contract.
