Doubt we see Trent today but he’ll be ready for Sunday. I’d imagine Diaz plays today with his familiarity with Benfica

Glad he buried one at the end to give us a better advantage. Hard to see us losing by two or more at Anfield in the return leg.

Hot take but I think he’s already got the best positional awareness of our attacking group. He knows how to play on the shoulder, where to be in the channel, and exactly when to hit the accelerator. Feels like when Diaz has an opportunity he’s clean through on goal on the buildup. Mo’s 1v1 chances seem to come off quick counters. I never played so don’t know if that can be taught, but it seems a lot more of “you have that innate skill or you don’t”

There isn’t a team with 5 better attackers on the planet, including the ones in Paris, Munich, and Manchester. This sort of depth I never dreamed of. Our full “B” team would beat the pants off Klopp’s first Liverpool squad

Speaking to my Colombian friend about him about a year ago. He told me that he's from a remote part of the country and was a very late bloomer compared to other Colombian players that are recognized at an earlier age. He said he was so skinny at Junior because he came from a very poor area and didn't have the proper nutrition.

His best trait is that he is very humble and remembers where he came from. What a great buy for now and the future.

Honestly, you're probably right. His movement is insane. Mo missed him running the channel twice yesterday. He would've been in on goal both times. Unreal to think he hasn't even had a preseason to learn the system (a system that is by all accounts extremely hard to learn).

I mean I think they actually are going to get relegated. It's insane to think about. I don't hate Everton as an organization. They are like toast to me. Plain, unworthy of emotion. But I do love watching their fans wallow in misery. Every ounce of my joy seeing them struggle stems from their fans' unrealistic, bitter, and miserable outlook on their club and football in general.

It really is so amusing to watch them melt 24/7.

I hope they get relegated but come back up in a season or 2 cause no Merseyside Derby would be weird AF

Would be nice not having half our team get injured playing them though

In other news, Fabrizio Romano reporting that our deal with Fulham for Fabio Carvalho is done

You don’t post pics with that saying in the background if you aren’t confident a contract will be agreed upon soon

At least that’s what I’m telling myself
